for whosoever shall do the will of my father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
በሰማያት ያለውን የአባቴን ፈቃድ የሚያደርግ ሁሉ፥ እርሱ ወንድሜ እኅቴም እናቴም ነውና አለ።

then allah sent a raven scratching in the earth to show him in what wise he might cover the corpse of his brother . he said : woe unto me was incapable of being like unto this raven so that i might cover the corpse of my brother !
የወንድሙንም ሬሳ እንዴት እንደሚሸሽግ ያሳየው ዘንድ አላህ መሬትን የሚጭር ቁራን ላከለት ፡ ፡ « ወይ እኔ የወንድሜን ሬሳ እሸሽግ ዘንድ እንደዚህ ቁራ ብጤ መኾን አቃተኝን » አለ ፡ ፡ ከጸጸተኞችም ኾነ ፡ ፡

then allah sent a crow digging up the earth so that he might show him how he should cover the dead body of his brother . he said : woe me ! do i lack the strength that i should be like this crow and cover the dead body of my brother ?
የወንድሙንም ሬሳ እንዴት እንደሚሸሽግ ያሳየው ዘንድ አላህ መሬትን የሚጭር ቁራን ላከለት ፡ ፡ « ወይ እኔ የወንድሜን ሬሳ እሸሽግ ዘንድ እንደዚህ ቁራ ብጤ መኾን አቃተኝን » አለ ፡ ፡ ከጸጸተኞችም ኾነ ፡ ፡

then god sent a raven which scratched the ground in order to show him how to hide the nakedness of his brother . " alas , the woe , " said he , " that i could not be even like the raven and hide the nakedness of my brother , " and was filled with remorse .
የወንድሙንም ሬሳ እንዴት እንደሚሸሽግ ያሳየው ዘንድ አላህ መሬትን የሚጭር ቁራን ላከለት ፡ ፡ « ወይ እኔ የወንድሜን ሬሳ እሸሽግ ዘንድ እንደዚህ ቁራ ብጤ መኾን አቃተኝን » አለ ፡ ፡ ከጸጸተኞችም ኾነ ፡ ፡

and he raised his parents upon the throne and they fell down in prostration before him , and he said : o my father ! this is the significance of my vision of old ; my lord has indeed made it to be true ; and he was indeed kind to me when he brought me forth from the prison and brought you from the desert after the shaitan had sown dissensions between me and my brothers , surely my lord is benignant to whom he pleases ; surely he is the knowing , the wise .
ወላጆቹንም በዙፋኑ ላይ አወጣቸው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ሰጋጆች ኾነው ወረዱለት ፡ ፡ « አባቴም ሆይ ! ይህ ፊት ያየኋት ሕልሜ ፍች ነው ፡ ፡ ጌታ በእርግጥ እውነት አደረጋት ፡ ፡ ከወህኒ ቤትም ባወጣኝና ሰይጣንም በእኔና በወንድሞቼ መካከል ከአበላሸ በኋላ እናንተን ከገጠር ባመጣችሁ ጊዜ በእርግጥ ለኔ መልካም ዋለልኝ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ለሚሻው ነገር እዝነቱ ረቂቅ ነው ፡ ፡ እነሆ እሱ ዐዋቂው ጥበበኛው ነው » አለ ፡ ፡
