management of damping off this disease can be managed by using of raised seedbed (it will not allow excess water to remain on the seedbed), burning of firewood or stalks of sorghum/maize on the seedbed, watering plants only when the soil is dry, preferably in the morning, by using disease free seeds, seed treatment using seed dressing fungicides by fungicide like apron star and thiram.
