ሰውን እንደ ሸክላ ከሚቅጨለጨል ደረቅ ጭቃ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

ሰውን እንደ ሸክላ ከሚቅጨለጨል ደረቅ ጭቃ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

like that we sent down upon those who split into bands ,
( ሰዎችን ለማገድ የመካን በሮች ) በተከፋፈሉት ላይ እንደ አወረድነው ( በኾነ ቅጣት አሰፈራሪያችሁ ነኝ በል ) ፡ ፡

he created the human being from clay like that used for pottery
ሰውን እንደ ሸክላ ከሚቅጨለጨል ደረቅ ጭቃ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

is not [ someone like ] that able to revive the dead ?
ይህ ( ጌታ ) ሙታንን ሕያው በማድረግ ላይ ቻይ አይደለምን ?

" if we had had with us a book like that of the people of old ,
« ከቀድሞዎቹ ( መጻሕፍት ) ገሳጭ መጽሐፍ እኛ ዘንድ በነበረን ኖሮ ፤

lo ! i fear for you a fate like that of the factions ( of old ) ;
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

this is a ( prophet ) like that of the ancient warners ( prophets ) .
ይህ ከፊተኞቹ አስፈራሪዎች ( ጎሳ ) የኾነ አስፈራሪ ነው ፡ ፡

no , that is not like that ! verily , we have created them out of that which they know !
ይከልከል ፤ እኛ ከሚያውቁት ነገር ( ከፍቶት ጠብታ ) ፈጠርናቸው ፡ ፡

the unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors . let them not make me bring immediate punishment upon them .
ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት እንደ ጓደኞቻቸው ፋንታ ብጤ ( የቅጣት ) ፋንታ አልላቸው ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ አያስቸኩሉኝ ፡ ፡

the believer said , " my people ! i fear for you a fate like that of the people of old :
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

and indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment , like that of their companions – so they must not ask me to hasten .
ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት እንደ ጓደኞቻቸው ፋንታ ብጤ ( የቅጣት ) ፋንታ አልላቸው ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ አያስቸኩሉኝ ፡ ፡

he who had faith said : “ my people , i fear that you will confront a day like that which overtook many parties before you ,
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

but if they turn away , tell them : “ i warn you against a sudden scourge like that which struck ad and thamud . ”
( ከእምነት ) እንቢ « ቢሉም እንደ ዓድና ሰሙድ መቅሰፍት ብጤ የኾነን መቅሰፍት አስጠነቅቃችኋለሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

lay not on us a burden like that which thou didst lay on those before us ; our lord ! lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear .
አላህ ነፍስን ከችሎታዋ በላይ አያስገድዳትም ፡ ፡ ለርስዋ የሠራችው አላት ፡ ፡ በርስዋም ላይ ያፈራችው ( ኀጢአት ) አለባት ፡ ፡ ( በሉ ) ፡ - ጌታችን ሆይ ! ብንረሳ ወይም ብንስት አትያዘን ፤ ( አትቅጣን ) ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከባድ ሸክምን ከእኛ በፊት በነበሩት ላይ እንደጫንከው በእኛ ላይ አትጫንብን ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! ለኛም በርሱ ችሎታ የሌለንን ነገር አታሸክመን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ይቅርታ አድርግ ለእኛም ምሕረት አድርግ ፡ ፡ እዘንልንም ፤ ዋቢያችን አንተ ነህና ፡ ፡ በከሓዲዎች ሕዝቦች ላይም እርዳን ፡ ፡

allah does not like that the evil should be uttered in public except by him who has been wronged . and allah is ever all-hearer , all-knower .
አላህ ከንግግር በክፉው መጮህን ከተበደለ ሰው ( ጩኸት ) በቀር አይወድም ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

the example of those who were entrusted with the torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [ of books ] . wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of allah .
የእነዚያ ተውራትን የተጫኑትና ከዚያም ያልተሸከሟት ( ያልሠሩባት ) ሰዎች ምሳሌ መጽሐፎችን እንደሚሸከም አህያ ብጤ ነው ፡ ፡ የእነዚያ በአላህ አንቀጾች ያስተባበሉት ሕዝቦች ምሳሌ ከፋ ፡ ፡ አላህም በዳዮችን ሕዝቦች አይመራም ፡ ፡

( like that book ) this too is a book which we have revealed ; full of blessing , confirming what was revealed before it so that you might warn the people of the mother of cities ( makka ) and those around it . those who believe in the hereafter believe in it , and are evermindful of their prayers .
« አላህ ( አወረደው ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በውሸታቸው ውስጥ የሚጫወቱ ሲኾኑ ተዋቸው ፡ ፡ ይህም ያወረድነው የኾነ ብሩክ ያንንም በፊቱ የነበረውን ( መጽሐፍ ) አረጋጋጭ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ የከተሞችን እናት ( መካን ) እና በዙሪያዋ ያሉትንም ሰዎች ልታስጠነቅቅበት ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡ እነዚያም በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም የሚያምኑት እነርሱ በሶላታቸው ላይ የሚጠባበቁ ሲኾኑ በርሱ ያምናሉ ፡ ፡
