« ከዓለማት ሰዎች ወንዶችን ትመጣላችሁን

what ! of all creatures do ye come unto the males ,

pharaoh said , ' and what of the former generations ? '
( ፈርዖንም ) « የመጀመሪያይቱ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ኹኔታ ምንድን ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

የግራ ጓደኞችም ምንኛ ( የተዋረዱ ) የግራ ጓዶች ! ናቸው ፡ ፡

those on the right what — of those on the right ?
የቀኝ ጓዶችም ምን ( የተከበሩ ) የቀኝ ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and those on the left hand : what of those on the left hand ?
የግራ ጓደኞችም ምንኛ ( የተዋረዱ ) የግራ ጓዶች ! ናቸው ፡ ፡

and those on the right hand ; what of those on the right hand ?
የቀኝም ጓዶች ምንኛ ( የከበሩ ) የቀኝ ጓዶች !

and ( then ) those on the left hand ; what of those on the left hand ?
የግራ ጓዶችም ምን ( የተዋረዱ ) የግራ ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

( first ) those on the right hand ; what of those on the right hand ?
የቀኝ ጓዶችም ምን ( የተከበሩ ) የቀኝ ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

but what of him against whom the sentence of punishment is justified ? can you rescue one who is already in the fire ?
በእርሱ ላይ የቅጣት ቃል የተረጋገጠችበትን ሰው ( ትመራዋለህን ? ) አንተ በእሳት ውስጥ ያለን ሰው ታድናለህን ?

then what of he who stands upon a clear proof from his lord , recited by a witness from him and before him is the book of moses for a guide and a mercy ? those believe in it .
ከጌታው ከአስረጅ ጋር የኾነ ሰው ፤ ከእርሱም ( ከአላህ ) የኾነ መስካሪ የሚከተለው ፣ ከእርሱ በፊትም የሙሳ መጽሐፍ መሪና እዝነት ሲኾን ( የመሰከረለት ) የቅርቢቱን ሕይወት እንደሚሻው ሰው ነውን እነዚያ በእርሱ ( በቁርኣን ) ያምናሉ ፡ ፡ ከአሕዛቦቹም በእርሱ የሚክድ ሰው እሳት መመለሻው ናት ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም በመጠራጠር ውስጥ አትሁን ፡ ፡ እርሱ ከጌታህ የሆነ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኞቹ ሰዎች አያምኑም ፡ ፡

show me , what of the earth have they created , or what share have they in the heavens ? " or have we given them a book whose testimony they possess ?
በላቸው « እነዚያን ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸውን ተጋሪዎቻችሁን አያችሁን ? ከምድር ምንን እንደ ፈጠሩ አሳዩኝ ፡ ፡ ወይስ ለእነርሱ በሰማያት ውስጥ ሽርክና አላቸውን ? ወይስ መጽሐፍን ሰጠናቸውና እነርሱ ከርሱ በግልጽ አስረጅ ላይ ናቸውን ? አይደለም በደለኞች ከፊላቸው ከፊሉን ማታለልን እንጂ አይቀጥሩም ፡ ፡ »

and what of him , the evil of whose deeds has been decked out fair to him , so that he thinks it is good ? god leads astray whomsoever he will , and whomsoever he will he guides ; so let not thy soul be wasted in regrets for them ; god has knowledge of the things they work .
መጥፎ ሥራው የተሸለመለትና መልካም አድርጎ ያየው ሰው ( አላህ እንዳቀናው ሰው ነውን ? ) አላህም የሚሻውን ሰው ያጠምማል ፡ ፡ የሚሻውንም ያቀናል ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ በእነርሱ ላይ ( ባለመቅናታቸው ) ስለመቆላጨት ነፍስህ አትጥፋ ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡
