lo ! he used not to believe in allah the tremendous ,
እርሱ ታላቅ በኾነው አላህ አያምንም ነበርና ፡ ፡

when he saves you from the hardship , some of you start to believe in idols .
ከዚያም ከእናንተ ላይ ችግርን ባነሳላችሁ ጊዜ ከእናንተው የኾኑ ጭፍሮች ወዲያውኑ በጌታቸው ( ጣዖትን ) ያጋራሉ ፡ ፡

verily he was wont not to believe in allah , the mighty .
እርሱ ታላቅ በኾነው አላህ አያምንም ነበርና ፡ ፡

verily , he used not to believe in allah , the most great ,
እርሱ ታላቅ በኾነው አላህ አያምንም ነበርና ፡ ፡

indeed , he did not used to believe in allah , the most great ,
እርሱ ታላቅ በኾነው አላህ አያምንም ነበርና ፡ ፡

and said : " we have come to believe in the lord of all the worlds ,
አሉ ፡ - « በዓለማት ጌታ አመንን ፡ ፡ »

alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the day which has been promised them .
ለነዚያም ለካዱት ከዚያ ከሚቀጠሩት ቀናቸው ወዮላቸው ፡

" he is only a man who invents a lie against allah , but we are not the ones to believe in him ! "
« እርሱ በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን የቀጠፈ ሰው እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኛም ለእርሱ አማኞች አይደለንም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

he is naught but a man who has forged a lie against allah , and we are not going to believe in him .
« እርሱ በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን የቀጠፈ ሰው እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኛም ለእርሱ አማኞች አይደለንም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

they replied , " are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low ? "
( እነርሱም ) « ወራዶቹ የተከተሉህ ኾነህ ለአንተ እናምናለን » አሉት ፡ ፡

they said , “ are we to believe in two mortals like us , and their people are our slaves ? ”
« ብጤያችንም ለኾኑ ሁለት ሰዎች ሕዝቦቻቸው ለእኛ ተገዢዎች ኾነው ሳሉ እናምናለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

" he is only a man who has invented a lie against allah , but we are not going to believe in him . "
« እርሱ በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን የቀጠፈ ሰው እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ እኛም ለእርሱ አማኞች አይደለንም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

' what ' they said , ' are we to believe in two mortals like us , whose nation are our worshipers '
« ብጤያችንም ለኾኑ ሁለት ሰዎች ሕዝቦቻቸው ለእኛ ተገዢዎች ኾነው ሳሉ እናምናለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

how is it with you , that you believe not in god seeing that the messenger is calling you to believe in your lord , and he has taken compact with you , if you are believers ?
መልክተኛው በጌታችሁ እንድታምኑ የሚጠራችሁ ሲኾን ( ጌታችሁ ) ኪዳናችሁንም የያዘባችሁ ሲኾን በአላህ የማታምኑት ለእናንተ ምን አልላችሁ ? የምታምኑ ብትኾኑ ( ወደ እምነት ቸኩሉ ) ፡ ፡

and we turn away their hearts and their visions , as they refused to believe in it the first time , and we leave them blundering in their rebellion .
በመጀመሪያም ጊዜ በእርሱ እንዳላመኑ ሁሉ ልቦቻቸውንና ዓይኖቻቸውን እናገላብጣለን ፡ ፡ በጥመታቸውም ውስጥ የሚዋልሉ ሲኾኑ እንተዋቸዋለን ፡ ፡

and assuredly we have destroyed the generations before you when they did wrong , while their apostles came unto them with the evidences , and they were not such as to believe . in this wise we requite the sinning people .
ከእናንተ በፊት የነበሩትንም የክፍለ ዘመናት ሰዎች መልክተኞቻቸው በማስረጃዎች የመጧቸው ሲኾኑ በበደሉና የማያምኑም በኾኑ ጊዜ በእርግጥ አጠፋናቸው ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ተንኮለኞችን ሕዝቦች እንቀጣለን ፡ ፡

and what would befall them were they to believe in allah and the last day and expend out of that wherewith allah hath provided them ? and of them allah is ever the knower .
በአላህና በመጨረሻውም ቀን ባመኑ አላህ ከሰጣቸውም ( ሲሳይ ) በለገሱ ኖሮ በነርሱ ላይ ምን ( ጉዳት ) ነበረ አላህም በነርሱ ( ኹነታ ) ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

they alone are believers who come to believe in god and his apostle , then never doubt again , and struggle wealth and soul in the way of god . they are the truthful and sincere .
( እውነተኛዎቹ ) ምእምናን እነዚያ በአላህና በመልእከተኛው ያመኑት ከዚያም ያልተጠራጠሩት በገንዘቦቻቸውና በነፍሶ ቻቸውም በአላህ መንገድ የታገሉት ብቻ ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያ እነሱ እውነተኞቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

have you not seen those who profess to believe in what has been revealed to you and [ to other prophets ] before you ? they seek the judgement of evil people , although they were commanded not to obey them .
ወደ እነዚያ እነርሱ በአንተ ላይ በተወረደውና ከአንተ በፊትም በተወረደው አምነናል ወደሚሉት ፤ አላየህምን በእርሱ እንዲክዱ በእርግጥ የታዘዙ ሲኾኑ ወደ ጣዖት መፋረድን ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡ ሰይጣንም ( ከእውነት ) የራቀን መሳሳት ሊያሳስታቸው ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡

and what is the matter with you , that you should not accept faith in allah ? whereas this noble messenger is calling you to believe in your lord , and allah has indeed already taken a covenant from you , if you believe .
መልክተኛው በጌታችሁ እንድታምኑ የሚጠራችሁ ሲኾን ( ጌታችሁ ) ኪዳናችሁንም የያዘባችሁ ሲኾን በአላህ የማታምኑት ለእናንተ ምን አልላችሁ ? የምታምኑ ብትኾኑ ( ወደ እምነት ቸኩሉ ) ፡ ፡
