you should not be grieved by what they say . all glory is wholly for god : he is the one who hears and knows everything .
ንግግራቸውም አያሳዝንህ ፡ ፡ ኀይል ሁሉ በሙሉ የአላህ ብቻ ነውና ፡ ፡ እርሱ ሰሚው ዐዋቂው ነው ፡ ፡

we shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the most gracious .
ከዚያም ከየጭፍሮቹ ሁሉ ከእነርሱ ያንን ( እርሱ ) በአልረሕማን ላይ በድፍረት በጣም ብርቱ የኾነውን እናወጣለን ፡ ፡

we are the one who give life and death , and to us will be the destination .
እኛ እኛው ሕያው እናደርጋለን ፡ ፡ እንገድላለንም ፡ ፡ መመለሻም ወደእኛ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

undoubtedly , they are the ones who will be the losers in the hereafter .
እነርሱ በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ከሳሪዎቹ እነሱ ለመኾናቸው ጥርጥር የለም ፡ ፡

these will be the ones who fulfil their vows and dread the day whose woe shall be spread far and wide ;
( ዛሬ ) በስለታቸው ይሞላሉ ፡ ፡ መከራው ተሰራጪ የኾነንም ቀን ይፈራሉ ፡ ፡

the one who created death and life to test you – who among you has the better deeds ; and he only is the most honourable , the oft forgiving .
ያ የትኛችሁ ሥራው ይበልጥ ያማረ መኾኑን ሊሞክራችሁ ሞትንና ሕይወትን የፈጠረ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊው መሓሪው ነው ፡ ፡

on the day when the earth shall be changed into another earth , as shall be the heavens , they will all appear before god , the one , the most supreme .
ምድር በሌላ ምድር የምትለወጥበትን ሰማያትም ( እንደዚሁ ) አንድ አሸናፊ ለኾነው አላህም ( ፍጡራን ሁሉ ) የሚገለጹበት ቀን ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡

and his lord pardoned him ( accepted his repentance ) . verily , he is the one who forgives ( accepts repentance ) , the most merciful .
አደምም ከጌታው ቃላትን ተቀበለ ፡ ፡ በርሱ ላይም ( ጌታው ጸጸትን በመቀበል ) ተመለሰለት ፤ እነሆ እርሱ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

and those whose scales are light , those will be the ones who will have courted loss . they will abide in hell .
ሚዛኖቹም የቀለሉበት ሰው እነዚያ እነርሱ ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በገሀነም ውስጥ ዘመውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

he is the one who originates creation , then repeats it , and it is very easy for him . his is the most exalted state in the heavens and on the earth ; he is the mighty , the wise one .
እርሱም ያ መፍጠርን የሚጀምር ከዚያም የሚመልሰው ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም ( መመለሱ ) በእርሱ ላይ በጣም ገር ነው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም በሰማያትም በምድርም ከፍተኛ ባሕርይ ( አንድነትና ለእርሱ ብጤ የሌለው መኾን ) አልለው ፡ ፡ እርሱም አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

or do they want to stage a deception ? -- then only those who do not believe will be the ones who will be tricked .
ወይስ ተንኮልን ( ባንተ ) ይሻሉን ? እነዚያም የካዱት እነርሱ በተንኮል ተሸናፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

they are the ones who will have the worst of punishment , and in the hereafter they will be the greatest losers .
እነርሱ እነዚያ ክፉ ቅጣት ለእነርሱ ያላቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም እነርሱ በጣም ከሳሪዎቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and those whose good deeds are light [ in the balance ] will be the ones who have lost themselves because they wrongfully rejected our signs .
ሚዛኖቻቸው የቀለሉባቸው ሰዎችም እነዚያ እነርሱ ተአምራቶቻችንን ይክዱ በነበሩት ምክንያት ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡

she said , " indeed , i seek refuge in the most merciful from you , [ so leave me ] , if you should be fearing of allah . "
« እኔ ከአንተ በአልረሕማን እጠበቃለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታህን ፈሪ እንደ ሆንክ ( አትቅረበኝ ) » አለች ፡ ፡

they are the ones who disbelieved in their lord ; they are the ones who shall have shackles around their necks . they shall be the inmates of the fire , wherein they will abide for ever .
ብትደነቅም ዐፈር በኾንን ጊዜ እና አዲስ ፍጥረት እንኾናለን ማለታቸው ( ታላቅ ) ድንቅ ነው ፡ ፡ እነዚህ እነዚያ በጌታቸው የካዱት ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚህም እንዛዝላዎች በአንገቶቻቸው ላይ ያሉባቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚሀም የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነሱ በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

as for those whose deeds weigh light in the scales — they will be the ones who have ruined their souls , and they will remain in hell [ forever ] .
ሚዛኖቹም የቀለሉበት ሰው እነዚያ እነርሱ ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በገሀነም ውስጥ ዘመውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

say , “ is there any among your partners that shows the right path ? ” say , “ allah shows the right path ; so who should be obeyed – the one who shows the right path , or one who does not even find the right path unless he is guided ?
« ከምታጋሩዋቸው ፤ ወደ እውነት የሚመራ አለን » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « አላህ ወደ እውነቱ ይመራል ፡ ፡ ወደ እውነት የሚመራው ሊከተሉት የተገባው ነውን ወይስ ካልተመራ በስተቀር የማይመራው ለእናንተም ምን ( አስረጅ ) አላችሁ እንዴት ( በውሸት ) ትፈርዳላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

the one who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days , then befitting his majesty , established himself upon the throne ( of control ) ; the most gracious – therefore ask the one who knows , concerning him !
ያ ሰማያትና ምድርን በመካከላቸው ያለውንም ሁሉ በስድስት ቀኖች ውስጥ የፈጠረ ፣ ከዚያም በዐርሹ ላይ ( ሥልጣኑ ) የተደላደለ አልረሕማን ነው ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም ዐዋቂን ጠይቅ ፡ ፡

and make us submissive unto you and of our offspring a nation submissive unto you , and show us our manasik ( all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - hajj and ' umrah , etc . ) , and accept our repentance . truly , you are the one who accepts repentance , the most merciful .
« ጌታችን ሆይ ! ላነተ ታዛዦችም አድርገን ፡ ፡ ከዘሮቻችንም ላንተ ታዛዦች ሕዝቦችን ( አድርግ ) ፡ ፡ ሕግጋታችንንም አሳየን ፤ ( አሳውቀን ) ፡ ፡ በኛም ላይ ተመለስን ፤ አንተ ጸጸትን ተቀባዩ ሩኅሩኅ አንተ ብቻ ነህና ፡ ፡ »

and between the two there will be a barrier , and on the heights will be men who will recognize each person by his mark and will cry , out to the people of paradise : ' peace be to you . ' these will be the ones who had not yet joined them in paradise , though they long to do so .
በመካከላቸውም ግርዶሽ አልለ ፡ ፡ በአዕራፍም ላይ ሁሉንም በምልክታቸው የሚያውቁ ሰዎች አልሉ ፡ ፡ የገነትንም ሰዎች ሰላም ለናንተ ይኹን በማለት ይጣራሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ( የአዕራፍ ሰዎች ) የሚከጅሉ ሲኾኑ ገና አልገቧትም ፡ ፡
