وبجانبهما رمم ملطيا الجبعوني ويادون الميرونوثي من اهل جبعون والمصفاة الى كرسي والي عبر النهر.

فارتحل بنو اسرائيل وجاءوا الى مدنهم في اليوم الثالث. ومدنهم هي جبعون والكفيرة وبئيروت وقرية يعاريم.

and the lord discomfited them before israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to beth-horon, and smote them to azekah, and unto makkedah.
فازعجهم الرب امام اسرائيل وضربهم ضربة عظيمة في جبعون وطردهم في طريق عقبة بيت حورون وضربهم الى عزيقة والى مقيدة.

وخرج يوآب ابن صروية وعبيد داود فالتقوا جميعا على بركة جبعون وجلسوا هؤلاء على البركة من هنا وهؤلاء على البركة من هناك.
