النصر من الله والنصر قريب

when the help comes from allah , and victory ( is granted ) ,
« إذا جاء نصر الله » نبيَّه صلى الله عليه وسلم على أعدائه « والفتح » فتح مكة .

apart from allah , and direct them to the path of hell ,
« من دون الله » أي غيره من الأوثان « فاهدوهم » دلوهم وسوقوهم « إلى صراط الجحيم » طريق النار .

that is bounty from allah , and allah sufficeth as knower .
« ذلك » أي كونهم مع ذكر مبتدأ خبره « الفضل من الله » تفضل به عليهم لا أنهم نالوه بطاعتهم « وكفى بالله عليما » بثواب الآخرة أي فثقوا بما أخبركم به ( ولا ينبئك مثل خبير ) .

that is the grace from allah , and sufficeth allah as knower !
« ذلك » أي كونهم مع ذكر مبتدأ خبره « الفضل من الله » تفضل به عليهم لا أنهم نالوه بطاعتهم « وكفى بالله عليما » بثواب الآخرة أي فثقوا بما أخبركم به ( ولا ينبئك مثل خبير ) .

that is a bounty from allah , and allah suffices to know the truth .
« ذلك » أي كونهم مع ذكر مبتدأ خبره « الفضل من الله » تفضل به عليهم لا أنهم نالوه بطاعتهم « وكفى بالله عليما » بثواب الآخرة أي فثقوا بما أخبركم به ( ولا ينبئك مثل خبير ) .

through grace from allah and his favour ; and allah is knowing , wise .
« فضلا من الله » مصدر منصوب بفعله المقدر ، أي أفضل « ونعمة » منه « والله عليم » بهم « حكيم » في إنعامه عليهم .

a grace and favour from allah ; and allah is full of knowledge and wisdom .
وهذا الخير الذي حصل لهم فضل من الله عليهم ونعمة . والله عليم بمن يشكر نعمه ، حكيم في تدبير أمور خلقه .

a grace and blessing from allah , and allah is all-knowing , all-wise .
« فضلا من الله » مصدر منصوب بفعله المقدر ، أي أفضل « ونعمة » منه « والله عليم » بهم « حكيم » في إنعامه عليهم .

he will also grant you the other favour that you desire : help from allah and a victory that will come soon . give glad tidings of this to the believers .
« و » يؤتكم « أُخرى تحبونها نصر من الله وفتح قريب وبشر المؤمنين » بالنصر والفتح .

( it is ) a bounty and a grace from allah ; and allah is knower , wise .
« فضلا من الله » مصدر منصوب بفعله المقدر ، أي أفضل « ونعمة » منه « والله عليم » بهم « حكيم » في إنعامه عليهم .

they set up deities apart from allah , hoping that they will receive help from them .
« واتخذوا من دون الله » أي غيره « آلهة » أصناما يعبدونها « لعلهم يُنصرون » يمنعون من عذاب الله تعالى بشفاعة آلهتهم بزعمهم .

and another ( favour will he bestow , ) which ye do love , - help from allah and a speedy victory . so give the glad tidings to the believers .
« و » يؤتكم « أُخرى تحبونها نصر من الله وفتح قريب وبشر المؤمنين » بالنصر والفتح .

moses said to his nation : ' seek help from allah and be patient . the earth belongs to allah ; he gives it as a heritage to whom he chooses amongst his worshipers .
« قال موسى لقومه استعينوا بالله واصبروا » على أذاهم « إنَّ الأرض لله يورثها » يعطيها « من يشاء من عباده والعاقبة » المحمودة « للمتقين » الله .

moses said to his people : ' seek help from allah and be steadfast . the earth is allah 's , he bestows it on those of his servants he chooses .
« قال موسى لقومه استعينوا بالله واصبروا » على أذاهم « إنَّ الأرض لله يورثها » يعطيها « من يشاء من عباده والعاقبة » المحمودة « للمتقين » الله .

and also ( he will give you ) another ( blessing ) which you love , help from allah ( against your enemies ) and a near victory . and give glad tidings ( o muhammad saw ) to the believers .
« و » يؤتكم « أُخرى تحبونها نصر من الله وفتح قريب وبشر المؤمنين » بالنصر والفتح .

and ( he will give you ) another ( blessing ) which ye love : help from allah and present victory . give good tidings ( o muhammad ) to believers .
« و » يؤتكم « أُخرى تحبونها نصر من الله وفتح قريب وبشر المؤمنين » بالنصر والفتح .
