Եւ նրանցից ոմանք ուզեցին բռնել նրան, բայց ոչ ոք նրա վրայ ձեռք չդրեց:

and some of the pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, master, rebuke thy disciples.
Իսկ փարիսեցիներից ոմանք ամբոխի միջից ասացին նրան. «Վարդապե՛տ, սաստի՛ր քո աշակերտներին»:

and some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, behold, he calleth elias.
Եւ նրանցից ոմանք, որ նրա շուրջն էին կանգնել, երբ լսեցին այդ, ասացին. «Եղիային է կանչում»:

and some of them said, could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
Նրանցից ոմանք ասում էին. «Սա, որ կոյրի աչքերը բացեց, չէ՞ր կարող նաեւ այնպէս անել, որ սա չմեռնէր»:

and some of the pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, are we blind also?
Փարիսեցիներից ոմանք, որ Յիսուսի հետ էին, այդ լսեցին ու նրան ասացին. «Միթէ մե՞նք էլ կոյր ենք»:

and ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
Դուք պիտի մատնուէք ե՛ւ ծնողներից, ե՛ւ եղբայրներից, ե՛ւ ազգականներից, ե՛ւ բարեկամներից, ու ձեզնից ոմանց պիտի սպանեն:

but there are some of you that believe not. for jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
Բայց ձեր մէջ կան ոմանք, որ չեն հաւատում»: Քանի որ Յիսուս սկզբից գիտէր, թէ ովքեր են նրանք, որ չեն հաւատում, եւ ով է նա, որ մատնելու է իրեն, ասաց.

wherefore, behold, i send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
