but as the days of noe were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be.
Եւ ինչպէս Նոյի օրերն էին, այնպէս պիտի լինի մարդու Որդու գալստեանը.

he that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Ով ինձ հաւատում է, - ինչպէս Գիրքն է ասում, - նրա ներսից կենդանի ջրերի գետեր պիտի բխեն»:

as the living father hath sent me, and i live by the father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Ինչպէս Հայրը, որ ինձ ուղարկեց, ապրում է, ես էլ ապրում եմ Հօր միջոցով. եւ ով ուտում է ինձ, նա էլ կ՚ապրի իմ միջոցով:

but when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Աղօթք անելիս շատախօս մի՛ լինէք ինչպէս հեթանոսները, որովհետեւ նրանք կարծում են, թէ իրենց շատ խօսքերի պատճառով լսելի կը լինեն:

and i will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
Քո յետնորդներին պիտի բազմացնեմ երկրի աւազի չափ. եթէ որեւէ մէկը ի վիճակի լինի հաշուելու երկրի աւազը, ապա քո յետնորդներն էլ թիւ կ՚ունենան:

and he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the lord commanded moses.
Համեմունքներից պատրաստուած խունկը դրեց դրա վրայ, ինչպէս Տէրն էր հրամայել Մովսէսին:

and gave them for the potter's field, as the lord appointed me.
եւ այն տուեցին բրուտի ագարակի համար, ինչպէս Տէրը ինձ հրամայել էր»:

and i will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Ես բազմացնելու եմ քո սերունդները երկնքի աստղերի չափ, քո զաւակներին եմ տալու այս ամբողջ երկիրը, եւ քո սերունդների միջոցով օրհնուելու են երկրի բոլոր ազգերը

and he set the bread in order upon it before the lord; as the lord had commanded moses.
Դրա վրայ Տիրոջ առաջ դասաւորեց առաջաւորութեան հացը, ինչպէս Տէրն էր հրամայել Մովսէսին:

and the children of israel went away, and did as the lord had commanded moses and aaron, so did they.
Իսրայէլացիները գնացին ու արեցին այնպէս, ինչպէս Տէրն էր պատուիրել Մովսէսին ու Ահարոնին. նրանք այդպէս էլ արեցին:

and he hardened pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the lord had said.
Կարծրացաւ փարաւոնի սիրտը, եւ նա չլսեց նրանց, ինչպէս որ ասել էր Տէրը:

and certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
Ապա մեզնից ոմանք էլ գերեզման գնացին եւ գտան այնպէս, ինչպէս կանայք ասել էին: Բայց նրան չտեսան:

and as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of john, whether he were the christ, or not;
Ժողովուրդը սպասման մէջ էր, եւ բոլորն իրենց սրտում Յովհաննէսի մասին հարց էին տալիս, թէ՝ միթէ սա՞ է Քրիստոսը:

and a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the lord commanded moses.
Սուրբ պսակի թիթեղը պատրաստեցին մաքուր ոսկուց եւ դրա վրայ փորագրեցին «Սրբութիւն Տեառն»:

and he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the lord commanded moses.
Ողջակէզների զոհասեղանը դրեց վկայութեան խորանի դռան մօտ եւ դրա վրայ ողջակէզներ ու զոհեր մատուցեց, ինչպէս Տէրն էր հրամայել Մովսէսին:

and it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold;
Երբ բոլոր ուղտերը յագեցան, մարդը նրան տուեց ոսկէ գինդեր՝ իւրաքանչիւրը մէկ դահեկանի քաշով, եւ տասը դահեկանի քաշով երկու ապարանջան դրեց նրա ձեռքերին:

abide in me, and i in you. as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Մնացէ՛ք իմ մէջ, եւ ես՝ ձեր մէջ. ինչպէս ճիւղը, որ ինքն իրեն չի կարող պտուղ տալ, եթէ որթատունկի վրայ հաստատուած չլինի, նոյնպէս եւ դուք՝ եթէ իմ վրայ հաստատուած չլինէք:
