why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but god only?
«Այս ի՞նչ է խօսում, սա հայհոյում է. ո՞վ կարող է մեղքերին թողութիւն տալ, եթէ ոչ՝ միայն Աստուած»:

verily i say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, որ մարդկանց որդիներին, որքան էլ հայհոյեն, ամէն մեղք եւ հայհոյանք կը ներուի.

for out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
քանի որ սրտից է, որ ելնում են չար խորհուրդներ, սպանութիւններ, շնութիւններ, պոռնկութիւններ, գողութիւններ, սուտ վկայութիւններ, հայհոյանքներ:

and the scribes and the pharisees began to reason, saying, who is this which speaketh blasphemies? who can forgive sins, but god alone?
Օրէնսգէտներն ու փարիսեցիները սկսեցին խորհել եւ ասացին. «Ո՞վ է սա, որ հայհոյանքներ է ասում. ո՞վ կարող է ներել մեղքերը, եթէ ոչ՝ Աստուած միայն»:

the jews answered him, saying, for a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself god.
Հրեաները նրան պատասխանեցին. «Քեզ բարի գործի համար չենք քարկոծում, այլ հայհոյութեան համար եւ նրա համար, որ դու մարդ ես, բայց ինքդ քեզ Աստծու տեղ ես դնում»:
