Ի սկզբանէ Աստուած ստեղծեց երկինքն ու երկիրը:

and others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
Իսկ ուրիշներ փորձում էին նրան եւ երկնքից նշան էին ուզում նրանից:

Եւ նրան երկնքից երեւաց մի հրեշտակ եւ ուժ էր տալիս նրան. նա տագնապի մէջ էր եւ ամբողջ հոգով էր աղօթում:

Եւ նրանց ասաց. «Տեսնում էի սատանային երկնքից ընկնելիս, ինչպէս փայլակը:

and saying, repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
«Ապաշխարեցէ՛ք, որովհետեւ երկնքի արքայութիւնը մօտեցել է»:

and as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Եւ երբ գնաք, քարոզեցէ՛ք եւ ասացէ՛ք. «Երկնքի արքայութիւնը մօտեցել է»:

be ye therefore perfect, even as your father which is in heaven is perfect.
Արդ, կատարեա՛լ եղէք դուք, ինչպէս որ ձեր երկնաւոր Հայրն է կատարեալ»:

and god called the firmament heaven. and the evening and the morning were the second day.
Աստուած տարածութիւնը կոչեց երկինք: Աստուած տեսաւ, որ լաւ է: Եւ եղաւ երեկոյ, եւ եղաւ առաւօտ՝ օր երկրորդ:

and thou, capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.
Եւ դու, Կափառնայո՛ւմ, որ մինչեւ երկինք ես բարձրացել, պիտի իջնես մինչեւ դժոխք:

again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Դարձեալ՝ երկնքի արքայութիւնը նման է մի վաճառականի, որ գեղեցիկ մարգարիտներ էր որոնում.

after this manner therefore pray ye: our father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
«Հա՛յր մեր, որ երկնքում ես. սո՛ւրբ թող լինի քո անունը.

and he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of god, and by him that sitteth thereon.
Եւ ով երդուեց երկնքի վրայ, երդուած կը լինի Աստծու աթոռի եւ նրա վրայ նստողի վրայ:

and from the days of john the baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Յովհաննէս Մկրտչի օրերից մինչեւ այժմ երկնքի արքայութիւնը բռնադատւում է. եւ հզօրներն են յափշտակում այն,

again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
Դարձեալ՝ երկնքի արքայութիւնը նման է ծով նետուած ուռկանի, որ ամէն տեսակ բան է հաւաքել.

and moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of egypt three days:
Մովսէսը ձեռքը մեկնեց դէպի երկինք, եւ Եգիպտացիների ամբողջ երկրի վրայ երեք օր խաւար, մէգ ու մութ եղաւ:

and god said, let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
Աստուած ասաց. «Թող երկնքի տակ գտնուող ջրերը հաւաքուեն մի տեղ, եւ երեւայ ցամաքը»: Եւ եղաւ այդպէս. երկնքի տակի ջրերը հաւաքուեցին մի տեղ, ու երեւաց ցամաքը:

and said, verily i say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
ու ասաց. «Ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, եթէ չդառնաք ու չլինէք մանուկների պէս, երկնքի արքայութիւնը չէք մտնի:

and great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
եւ մեծ երկրաշարժներ ու տարբեր տեղերում սով ու ժանտախտ պիտի լինեն. պիտի լինեն արհաւիրքներ եւ մեծամեծ նշաններ երկնքից:

and he saith unto him, verily, verily, i say unto you, hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of god ascending and descending upon the son of man.
Եւ ասաց նրան. «Ճշմարիտ, ճշմարիտ եմ ասում ձեզ, պիտի տեսնէք երկինքը բացուած եւ Աստծու հրեշտակներին՝ բարձրանալիս եւ իջնելիս մարդու Որդու վրայ»:
