Նա թլփատեց իր տան բոլոր տղամարդկանց՝ ընդոծիններ լինեն նրանք թէ արծաթով գնուած օտարածին ստրուկներ:

Պանդուխտին մի՛ ճնշիր. դուք գիտէք պանդուխտ մարդկանց վիճակը, որովհետեւ դուք եւս պանդուխտ էիք Եգիպտացիների երկրում»:

այն բաները, որ իրենց ձեռնադրութեան եւ սրբագործութեան որպէս քաւութիւն ծառայեցին: Որեւէ օտարական թող դրանցից չուտի, որովհետեւ դրանք սրբութիւններ են:

and he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
Ձեր մանուկները՝ ձեր ցեղերի բոլոր արուները, ընդոծինն ու արծաթով գնուած ստրուկները, ամէն մի օտարածին, որ քո սերնդից չէ, ութօրեայ հասակում պէտք է թլփատուեն: Պէտք է անպայման թլփատուեն քո տան ընդոծինն ու արծաթով գնուած քո ստրուկը:

and he said unto abram, know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
Եօթը օր ձեր տներում թթխմոր չպիտի լինի: Բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր թթխմորով հաց կ՚ուտեն, կը վերացուեն Իսրայէլի ժողովրդի միջից:
