আর যে কেউ সেইদিন তার পিঠ ফেরাবে -- যুদ ্ ধের কেশল অবলন ্ বন ব ্ যতীত , অথবা দলে যোগ দেবার জন ্ যে , -- সে তাহলে নিশ ্ চয়ই আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র ক ্ রোধ অর ্ জন করবে , আর তার আশ ্ রয় হবে জাহান ্ নাম , আর তা হচ ্ ছে নিকৃষ ্ ট গন ্ তব ্ যস ্ থল !

are those who seek god 's pleasure equal to those who incur his wrath and whose dwelling will be hell , the terrible destination ?
কি ! যে আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র সন ্ তষ ্ টির অনুবর ্ তী সে কি তার মতো যে আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র কাছ থেকে অসন ্ তোষ আনয়ন করেছে ও যার ঠাঁই হচ ্ ছে জাহান ্ নাম ? আর জঘন ্ য সেই গন ্ তব ্ যস ্ থল !

do not be like the lady behind the spinning wheel who has broken the yarn by pulling it with unnecessary force . you must not consider your oaths as means of deceit to benefit one party and incur loss upon the other .
আর সেই নারীর মতো হয়ো না যে তার সুতো খুলে ফেলে টুকরো টুকরো ক ’ রে তা মজবুত করে বোনার পরে । তোমাদের শপথগুলোকে তোমাদের মধ ্ যে ছলনার জন ্ যে তোমরা ব ্ যবহার করছ , যেন তোমাদের এক জাতি অন ্ য জাতির চাইতে ক ্ ষমতাশীল হতে পার । আল ্ লাহ ্ অবশ ্ যই এর দ ্ বারা তোমাদের পরীক ্ ষা করছেন , আর যেন কিয়ামতের দিনে তোমাদের কাছে সুস ্ পষ ্ ট করতে পারেন যে- বিষয়ে তোমরা মতভেদ করছিলে ।

and has a long time passed since those promises were fulfilled ? or was it to incur the wrath of your lord that you broke your promise with me ? "
অতঃপর মূসা তাঁর সম ্ প ্ রদায়ের কাছে ফিরে গেলেন ক ্ রদ ্ ধ ও অনুতপ ্ ত অবস ্ থায় । তিনি বললেনঃ হে আমার সম ্ প ্ রদায় , তোমাদের পালনকর ্ তা কি তোমাদেরকে একটি উত ্ তম প ্ রতিশ ্ রুতি দেননি ? তবে কি প ্ রতিশ ্ রুতির সময়কাল তোমাদের কাছে দীর ্ ঘ হয়েছে , না তোমরা চেয়েছ যে , তোমাদের উপর তোমাদের পালনকর ্ তার ক ্ রোধ নেমে আসুক , যে কারণে তোমরা আমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা ভঙ ্ গ করলে ?

allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing , and on their eyes is a veil ; great is the penalty they ( incur ) .
আল ্ লাহ তাদের অন ্ তকরণ এবং তাদের কানসমূহ বন ্ ধ করে দিয়েছেন , আর তাদের চোখসমূহ পর ্ দায় ঢেকে দিয়েছেন । আর তাদের জন ্ য রয়েছে কঠোর শাস ্ তি ।

and do not use your oaths to deceive one another , so that a foot may not slip after being firm , and you taste misery because you hindered from god s path ’ , and incur a terrible torment .
আর তোমাদের শপথগুলোকে তোমাদের মধ ্ যে ছলনার জন ্ যে ব ্ যবহার করো না , পাছে পা পিছলে যায় তা সুপ ্ রতিষ ্ ঠিত হবার পরে , আর তোমরা মন ্ দের আস ্ বাদ গ ্ রহণ করবে যেহেতু তোমরা আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র পথ থেকে ফিরে গেছ , আর তোমাদের জন ্ য রয়েছে কঠোর শাস ্ তি ।

except for those who were forced to engage in infidelity to allah after believing the while their hearts remained firmly convinced of their belief , the ones whose hearts willingly embraced disbelief shall incur allah 's wrath and a mighty chastisement lies in store for them .
আর যে আল ্ লাহতে অবিশ ্ বাস পোষণ করে তার বিশ ্ বাস স ্ থাপনের পরে , -- সে ছাড়া যে বাধ ্ য হয় অথচ তার হৃদয় ঈমানে অবিচলিত থাকে -- কিন ্ তু তার ক ্ ষেত ্ রে যে অবিশ ্ বাসের জন ্ য বক ্ ষ প ্ রসারিত করে , তাদের উপরেই তবে আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র ক ্ রোধ , আর তাদের জন ্ য রয়েছে কঠোর শাস ্ তি ।

" eat from the wholesome things with which we have provided you but do not transgress , lest you should incur my wrath . " [ we said ] , " he that incurs my wrath shall surely be ruined .
''আমরা তোমাদের যা রিযেক দান করেছি তা থেকে ভাল ভাল বস্তু খাওয়া-দাওয়া করো, আর এতে সীমা ছাড়িয়ে যেও না, পাছে আমার ক্রোধ তোমাদের উপরে অবধারিত হয়ে যায়, আর যার উপরে আমার ক্রোধ অবধারিত হয় সে তো তাহলে ধ্বংস হয়ে যায়।
