আর দিনের কথা যখন তা ঝলমল করে ;

and by oath of a passage , written –
আর লিখিত গ ্ রন ্ থের ,

and by oath of the night when it covers ,
আর রাত ্ রির কথা যখন তা অন ্ ধকার ছড়িয়ে দেয় ।

and by oath of the night when it hides it
আর রাতের কথা যখন সে তাকে আচ ্ ছাদিত করে ।

and by oath of the night when it turns back .
আর রাত ্ রিকে যখন তা বিগত হয়ে যায় ,

and by oath of the earth which flourishes with it .
আর পৃথিবীর কথা যা বিদীর ্ ণ হয় ।

and by oath of the morning , when it spreads light .
আর প ্ রভাতকালের কথা যখন তা হয় আলোকোজ ্ জ ্ বল ।

by oath of the heaven , and by oath of the nightly arriver .
ভাবো আকাশের ও রাতের আগন ্ তুকের কথা !

so by oath of those that revolve . ( the planets . )
কাজেই না , আমি সাক ্ ষী মানছি গ ্ রহ-নক ্ ষত ্ রদের --

“ by oath of allah , we were indeed in open error . ”
''আল্লাহ্‌র দিব্য, আমরা তো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতেই ছিলাম, --

and by oath of your forefather ibrahim , and by you – his illustrious son !
আর জন ্ মদাতার , আর যাদের তিনি জন ্ ম দিয়েছেন ।
