a wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
မာနကြီးသောသူသည် ရန်ကိုနှိုးဆော်တတ်၏။ သည်းခံနိုင်သော သူမူကားငြိမ်းတတ်၏။

howbeit then, when ye knew not god, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
သို့သော်လည်း အထက်က သင်တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို မသိသောအခါ၊ ဇာတိအားဖြင့် ဘုရားမဟုတ် သော သူတို့၏အမှုကိုဆောင်ရွက်ကြ၏။

အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောသူသည်လည်း ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက်ပညတ်တရားကို ကျင့်လျှင်၊ ကျမ်းစာနှင့်အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းရှိလျက်ပင် ပညတ်တရားကို လွန်ကျူးသောသင်ကို တရားတွေ့၍ အရှုံးခံစေမည် မဟုတ်လော။

he that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
စိတ်ရှည်သောသူသည် ပညာကြီး၏။ စိတ်တို သောသူမူကား၊ အထူးသဖြင့် မိုက်ပေ၏။

he that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
စိတ်ရှည်သောသူသည် ခွန်အားကြီးသောသူ ထက်၎င်း၊ မိမိစိတ်ကိုချုပ်တည်းသောသူသည် မြို့ကို တိုက်ယူသောသူထက်၎င်းသာ၍ ကောင်း၏။

for when the gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
ထိုငြင်းဆန်သော သူတို့နှင့်တကွ၊ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှ သည်အထက်က ကိုယ်ကာယ၏အလိုသို့၎င်း၊ စိတ်၏ အလိုသို့၎င်း၊ လိုက်သဖြင့် ကာမဂုဏ်တို့၌ ကျင်လည်သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ကြွင်းသောသူတို့ကဲ့သို့ပင် ပကတိအတိုင်း အမျက်တော်ကို ခံရသောသူဖြစ်ကြ၏။

the lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် စိတ်ရှည်တော်မူ၏။ တန်ခိုး လည်း ကြီးတော်မူ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်၊ အပြစ်တည်သော သူ တို့ကို အပြစ်မှ လွှတ်တော်မမူ။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် လေ ဘွေ၌၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းသက်မုန်တိုင်း၌၎င်း ကြွတော်မူ၍၊ မိုဃ်း တိမ်တို့သည် စက်တော်အောက်၌ မြေမှုန့်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
