သူသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍ သားကိုဘွားမြင်လျှင်၊ ငါခံရသော ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို ဘုရားသခင်သည် ပယ်တော်မူပြီဟူ၍၎င်း၊

and she called his name joseph; and said, the lord shall add to me another son.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အခြားသောသားကို ထပ်၍ ပေးတော်မူပါစေသောဟူ၍၎င်းဆိုလျက်၊ ထိုသားကို ယောသပ်အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။

then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;
သင့်အိမ်သို့ သူ့ကိုခေါ်သွား၍၊ သူသည် ဦးဆံရိတ်ခြင်း၊ လက်သည်းလှီးဖြတ်ခြင်းကို ပြုလျက်၊

and adam knew eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare cain, and said, i have gotten a man from the lord.
ထိုနောက်၊ လူအာဒံသည် မယားဧဝနှင့်ဆက်ဆံသဖြင့်၊ ဧဝသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေစွဲယူ၍၊ ကာဣနကို ဘွားမြင် လျှင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ လူကို ငါရပြီဟုဆိုလေ၏။

and she went forth, and said unto her mother, what shall i ask? and she said, the head of john the baptist.
ထိုမိန်းမငယ်သည် ထွက်၍ အဘယ်အရာကို တောင်းရမည်နည်းဟု သူ၏အမိကိုမေးလျှင် အမိက၊ ဗတ္တိဇံဆရာယောဟန်၏ ဦးခေါင်းကို တောင်းလော့ဟု ပြန်ဆိုသော်၊

and she arose, and bowed herself on her face to the earth, and said, behold, let thine handmaid be a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.
အဘိဂဲလသည် ထ၍ မြေပေါ်မှာ ပြပ်ဝပ်လျက်၊ ကျွန်မသည် ကျွန်မသခင်၏ ကျွန်တို့ ခြေကို ဆေးသော ကျွန်မိန်းမဖြစ်စေသောဟု ဆိုပြီးမှ၊

and she answered and said unto him, yes, lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
မိန်းမကလည်း မှန်ပါ၏သခင်။ ခွေးမည်သည်ကား၊ သားတို့၏ စားနုပ်စားပေါက်ကို စားပွဲအောက်၌ စားမြဲထုံးစံရှိပါသည်ဟု ပြန်၍ လျှောက်လျှင်၊

and tamar put ashes on her head, and rent her garment of divers colours that was on her, and laid her hand on her head, and went on crying.
တာမာသည်လည်း ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ ပြာကိုတင်၍ အဆင်းအရောင်ထူးခြားသော အဝတ်ကိုဆုတ်ပြီးမှ၊ ခေါင်းပေါ်၌ လက်တင်၍ ငိုကြွေးလျက် ပြန်သွား၏။

and she made haste, and let down her pitcher from her shoulder, and said, drink, and i will give thy camels drink also: so i drank, and she made the camels drink also.
သူသည်အလျင်အမြန်ပခုံးပေါ်က ရေဘူးကို ချလျက်၊ သောက်ပါလော့။ သင်၏ ကုလားအုပ်တို့ကို လည်း၊ ရေတိုက်ပါမည်ဟုဆိုသည်အတိုင်း၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သောက် ရ၏။ ကုလားအုပ်တို့ကိုလည်း ရေတိုက်လေ၏။

then samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, is it not because the lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?
ဆီဘူးကိုယူ၍ ရှောလု၏ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ လောင်းလေ၏။ တဖန် သူ့ကိုနမ်းသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင့်ကို အမွေတော်လူမျိုး၏ မင်းအရာ၌ ခန့်ထား၍ ဆီလောင်ခြင်း ဘိသိက်ကိုပေးတော်မူ၏။

and she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, the philistines be upon thee, samson. and he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.
ဒေလိလသည် သူ၏ဆံပင်ခုနစ်စုတို့ကို ရက်ကန်းသား၌ ရက်သွင်း၍ ထရံတွင်စို့နှင့် ရိုက်ထားပြီးမှ၊ ရှံဆုန်၊ ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့သည် သင့်ကို တိုက်လာကြသည်ဟုဆိုသော်၊ ရှံဆုန်နိုး၍ ရက်ကန်းလက်လိပ်၊ စို့၊ ရက်ကန်းသားပါလျက် သွား၏။

and she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
ဒေလိလသည် ရှံဆုန်ခေါင်းကို မိမိဒူးပေါ်မှာ တင်လျက် သူကို အိပ်စေသဖြင့်၊ လူတယောက်ကို ခေါ်၍ သူ၏ ဆံပင်ခုနစ်စုတို့ကို ရိတ်စေပြီးမှ၊ သူကို နှောင့်ရှက်စပြု၍ သူ၏ ခွန်အားသည် လျော့ ပျောက်၏။

and when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. and she had compassion on him, and said, this is one of the hebrews' children.
ပုခက်ဖုံးကို ဖွင့်သောအခါ၊ ငိုလျက်နေသော သူငယ်ကိုမြင်၍၊ သနားသောစိတ်ရှိလျှင်၊ ဤသူငယ်သည် ဟေဗြဲအမျိုးဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုပြီးသော်၊

and he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, thus saith the lord god of israel, i have anointed thee king over the people of the lord, even over israel.
ထိုအခါ ယေဟုသည် ထ၍အိမ်ထဲသို့ ဝင်သဖြင့်၊ ပရောဖက်သည် သူ၏ခေါင်းပေါ်၌ ဆီကိုလောင်းလျက်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ ငါသည် သင့်ကို ထာဝရဘုရား၏လူ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ရှင်ဘုရင်အရာ၌ ခန့်ထား၍ ဘိသိက်ပေး၏။

then king david answered and said, call me bath-sheba. and she came into the king's presence, and stood before the king.
ထိုအခါဒါဝိဒ်မင်းကြီးက၊ ဗာသရှေဘကို ခေါ်ခဲ့ ပါဟု မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဗာသရှေဘသည်လာ၍ ရှေ့တော်၌ ရပ်နေ၏။

and joshua called for all israel, and for their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said unto them, i am old and stricken in age:
ဣသရေလအမျိုး အသက်ကြီးသူ၊ အကဲအမှူး၊ တရားသူကြီး၊ အရာရှိသောသူများနှင့်တကွ အမျိုးသား အပေါင်းတို့ကို ခေါ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ငါသည် အသက်ကြီးရင့်၍ အိုမင်းပြီ။

and she vowed a vow, and said, o lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then i will give him unto the lord all the days of his life, and there shall no rasor come upon his head.
အိုကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကျွန်မကို မေ့လျော့တော်မမူဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန်မ၏ ဆင်းရဲခြင်းကို ကြည့်ရှုအောက်မေ့သဖြင့်၊ သားယောက်ျားကို ပေးသနားတော်မူလျှင်၊ သူ၏ ဆံပင်ရိတ်ခြင်းကို အလျှင်းမပြု။ တသက်လုံး ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ကျွန်ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ ကျွန်မအပ်ပါ မည်ဟု သစ္စာဂတိပြုလေ၏။

and he turned to the woman, and said unto simon, seest thou this woman? i entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
ထိုမိန်းမကိုလှည့်၍ ရှိမုန်အားလည်း၊ သင်သည် ဤမိန်းမကိုမြင်သလော။ သင်၏အိမ်သို့ ငါဝင်သော် သင်သည် ခြေဆေးရေကိုမပေး။ ဤမိန်းမမူကား၊ ငါ့ခြေ ပေါ်သို့ မျက်ရည်ကျ၍ မိမိဆံပင်နှင့်သုတ်လေပြီ။

and her mother in law said unto her, where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. and she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, the man's name with whom i wrought to day is boaz.
ယောက္ခမကလည်း၊ ယနေ့အဘယ်မှာလုပ်သနည်း။ သင်သိမှတ် သောသူသည်မင်္ဂလာရှိပါစေသော ဟုမြွက်ဆိုလျှင်၊ ရုသက ယနေ့ကျွန်မလုပ်သောသူ၏အမည်ကား၊ ဗောဇဖြစ်ပါသည်ဟုယောက္ခမအား ကြားပြောသော်။

so they girded sackcloth on their loins, and put ropes on their heads, and came to the king of israel, and said, thy servant ben-hadad saith, i pray thee, let me live. and he said, is he yet alive? he is my brother.
လျှော်တေအဝတ်ကိုဝတ်၍၊ ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ ကြိုးကိုရွက်လျက်၊ ဣသရေလရှင်ဘုရင်ထံသို့ ရောက် လျှင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကျွန်ဗင်္ဟာဒဒ်က၊ ကျွန်တော်အသက်ကို ချမ်းသာပေးတော်မူပါဟု တောင်းပန်ကြောင်းကို လျှောက်ကြသော်၊ အာဟပ်မင်းက၊ ငါ့အစ်ကိုသည် အသက်ရှင်သေးသလောဟုမေး၏။
