ယေရှုသည် ထိုအရပ်မှ ကြွတော်မူလျှင်၊ မဿဲအမည်ရှိသော သူတယောက်သည် အခွန်ခံရာတဲ၌ ထိုင် နေသည်ကို မြင်သော်၊ ငါ့နောက်သို့လိုက်လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုသူသည်လည်း ထ၍ နောက်တော်သို့ လိုက်လေ၏။

and ben-hadad sent unto him, and said, the gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.
တဖန်ဗင်္ဟာဒဒ်သည် စေလွှတ်၍၊ ရှမာရိမြို့၌ ရှိသော မြေမှုန့်သည် ငါ့နောက်သို့ လိုက်သောသူအပေါင်း တို့တွင်၊ တယောက်တလက်ဆုပ်စီစေ့ငလောက်လျှင်၊ ဘုရားတို့သည် ငါ၌ ထိုမျှမကပြုပါစေသောဟု မှာလိုက် လေသော်၊

simon peter said unto him, lord, whither goest thou? jesus answered him, whither i go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
ရှိမုန်ပေတရုက၊ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အဘယ်အရပ်သို့ ကြွတော်မူမည်နည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်လျှင်၊ ယေရှုက၊ ငါသွားရာအရပ်သို့ သင်သည်ယခုမလိုက်နိုင်။ နောက်မှလိုက်ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
