သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်က၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အဘယ်သို့ သိတော်မူမည်နည်း။ ထူသောတိမ်တိုက်ကွယ်လျက်နှင့် စီရင်တော်မူနိုင်မည်လော။

how then can man be justified with god? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
သို့ဖြစ်၍ လူသည် ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော်၌ ကုသိုလ်ကို အဘယ်သို့ရနိုင်သနည်း။ လူမိန်းမဘွားမြင် သောသူသည် အဘယ်သို့ သန့်ရှင်းနိုင်သနည်း။

but the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of god: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
ဇာတိပကတိလူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဝိညာဉ်တော်အရာတို့ကို မခံမယူ။ ထိုအရာတို့သည် မိုက်မဲသော အရာဖြစ်သည်ဟု ထင်တတ်၏။ ထိုအရာတို့ကို ဝိညာဉ် အားဖြင့်သာ ပိုင်းခြား၍နားလည်နိုင်သောကြောင့်၊ ဇာတိပကတိလူသည် နားမလည်နိုင်။

nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
နိကောဒင်ကလည်း၊ အသက်ကြီးသောသူသည် မွေးခြင်းကိုအဘယ်သို့ခံနိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ အမိဝမ်း ထဲသို့ တဖန်ဝင်၍မွေးခြင်းကို ခံနိုင်ပါမည်လောဟု လျှောက်၏။

if a man say, i love god, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love god whom he hath not seen?
တစုံတယောက်သောသူက၊ ငါသည် ဘုရားသခင်ကိုချစ်၏ဟု ဆိုလျက်ပင် မိမိညီအစ်ကိုကို မုန်းလျှင်၊ ထိုသူသည် မုသာကိုသုံးသောသူဖြစ်၏။ မိမိမြင်ရသော ဘုရားသခင်ကို အဘယ်သို့ချစ်နိုင်မည်နည်း။

and saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, they have ascribed unto david ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
ရှောလုက၊ သူတို့သည် ဒါဝိဒ်အား အသောင်းသောင်း၊ ငါ့အား အထောင်ထောင်သာ ပေးကြပြီ။ နိုင်ငံတော်မှတပါး အဘယ်အရာကို ပေးနိုင်သေးသနည်းဟု အလွန်အမျက်ထွက်၍ ထိုစကားကြောင့် စိတ်ပျက်လေ၏။

behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
ကြည့်ကြလော့။ ကျောက်ကို ရိုက်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ရေထွက်၍ မြစ်ရေကဲ့သို့ စီးလေ၏။ မုန့်ကိုလည်း ပေးနိုင် သလော။ မိမိလူတို့အဘို့ အမဲသားကိုပြင်ဆင်နိုင်သလော ဟု ဘုရားသခင်ကို ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပြုလျက် ပြောဆိုကြ၏။
