စစ်သူရဲတယောက်သည် နံဖေးတော်ကို လှံနှင့်ထိုးဖောက်၍ သွေးနှင့်ရေသည်ချက်ခြင်းထွက်လာ၏။

then came there two women, that were harlots, unto the king, and stood before him.
ထိုအခါ ပြည်တန်ဆာမိန်းမနှစ်ယောက်သည် လာ၍ ရှေ့တော်၌ ရပ်လျက်၊

အိုအဘ၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏နာမတော်ကို ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူပါဟု မိန့်မြွတ်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုအခါကောင်းကင်မှ စကားသံကား၊ ငါချီးမြှောက်ခဲ့ပြီ၊ တဖန်ချီးမြှောက်ဦးမည်ဟုလာ၏။

ထိုလူများတို့ကို အဟာဝမြို့သို့စီးသော မြစ်နား မှာ ငါစုဝေးစေ၍၊ သုံးရက်ပတ်လုံးတဲ၌ နေကြ၏။ လူများ နှင့် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်များတို့ကို ငါစစ်ဆေး၍၊ လေဝိသား တယောက်ကိုမျှ မတွေ့သောအခါ၊

and in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
ရှင်ဘုရင်အမိန့်တော်စာရောက်လေသော အပြည်ပြည်တို့၌ ယုဒလူတို့သည် အလွန်ညည်းတွားခြင်း၊ အစာရှောင်ခြင်း၊ ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းခြင်းကိုပြု၍၊ လူများ တို့သည် ပြာနှင့်လျှော်တေအဝတ်၌ အိပ်ကြ၏။

then said i, ah lord god! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have i not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
ငါကလည်း၊ အိုအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ပါသေး။ အလိုလို သေသောအကောင်၊ သားရဲကိုက်၍ သေသောအကောင်၊ ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်သောအကောင်၏ အသားကို ငယ်သော အသက်အရွယ်မှစ၍ ယခုတိုင်အောင် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မစားပါဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊

then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the lord had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
ထိုအခါ သူ၏ညီအစ်ကိုနှမများ၊ အရင်သိကျွမ်း သောသူများ၊ အပေါင်းတို့သည် သူ့ထံသို့လာ၍ သူ၏ အိမ်၌ သူနှင့်အတူစားသောက်ကြ၏။ အပေါ်မှာ ထာဝရဘုရားရောက်စေတော်မူသော ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲရှိသမျှကို အောက်မေ့၍ သူနှင့်အတူ ညည်းတွားခြင်းနှင့် နှစ်သိမ့် စေခြင်းကို ပြုကြ၏။ ထိုသူအပေါင်းတို့သည်လည်း၊ ငွေ တပြားစီနှင့် ရွှေနားတောင်းတဘက်စီပေးကြ၏။
