ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကို စစ်ချီ၍ တိုက်မည်။ ထိုအမှုကို ဖျက်မည်ဟု တညီတညွတ်တည်း တိုင်ပင်ကြ၏။

and will go all of you armed over jordan before the lord, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him,
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ရန်သူတို့ကို ရှေ့တော်မှ နှင်ထုတ်၍ ထိုပြည်ကို အောင်တော်မမူမှီတိုင်အောင်၊

and they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
သူတို့သည်လာ၍ လူဆိတ်ညံသောချိုင့်များ၊ ချောက်ကြား၊ တောအုံ၊ ကျက်စားရာများအပေါ်မှာ အကုန်အစင်နားကြလိမ့်မည်။

how long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for god resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
ထိုနည်းတူ၊ အသက်ပျိုသောသူတို့၊ အသက်ကြီးသော သူတို့၏ စကားကိုနားထောင်ကြလော့။ ထိုမျှမက၊ အချင်းချင်းတယောက်အောက်တယောက်နှိမ့်ချလျက်နေ၍၊ နှိမ့်ချခြင်းတန်ဆာကို ဆင်ကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထောင်လွှားစော်ကားသော သူတို့ကို ဘုရားသခင် ဆီးတားတော်မူ၏။ စိတ်နှိမ့်ချသော သူတို့အား ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူ၏။

that all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
ထိုသို့ ပြုနိုင်သောကြောင့် သင်တို့အပေါင်းသည် ငါ့တဘက်၌ သင်းဖွဲ့ကြသလော။ ငါ့သားသည် ယေရှဲ၏သားနှင့် မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့ကြောင်းကို တယောက်မျှမပြော။ ငါ့အတွက် တယောက်မျှ ဝမ်းမနည်း။ ငါ့ကျွန်သည် ယနေ့ ပြုသည် အတိုင်း၊ ငါ့ကို ချောင်းမြောင်းစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါ့သားနှိုးဆော် ကြောင်းကို တယောက်မျှမပြောဘဲ နေကြသည်တကားဟု အခြံအရံတို့အား ဆိုလေသော်၊
