သင်တို့အဘများ၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင်တို့ကို အဆအထောင်အားဖြင့် များပြားစေ တော်မူပါစေသော။ ဂတိတော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ကောင်း ကြီးပေးတော်မူပါစေသော။

but sanctify the lord god in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
စိတ်နှလုံးထဲ၌ ထာဝရအရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ကို ရိုသေခြင်းရှိကြလော့။ သင်တို့မြော်လင့်ခြင်း၏ အကြောင်းကို မေးမြန်းသောသူရှိသမျှတို့အား၊ နူးညံ့သောသဘော၊ ကြောက်ရွံ့သောသဘောနှင့် ပြန်ပြော ခြင်းငှါ၊ ကာလအစဉ်မပြတ် အသင့်ရှိနေကြလော့။

သင်တို့သည် သင်တို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ပြစ်မှား၍၊ နွားသငယ်ရုပ်တုကို သွန်းကြောင်းနှင့် ထာဝရဘုရားမှာထားတော်မူသောလမ်းမှ အလျင်အမြန် လွှဲသွားကြောင်းကို ငါသည် ကြည့်မြင်လျှင်၊

and he stood and cried unto the armies of israel, and said unto them, why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not i a philistine, and ye servants to saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
ထိုသူရဲသည် ရပ်လျက် သင်တို့သည် စစ်ပြိုင်ခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ထွက်လာကြသနည်း။ ငါသည် ဖိလိတ္တိလူ၊ သင်တို့သည် ရှောလု၏ ကျွန်ဖြစ်ကြသည် မဟုတ်လော။ လူတယောက်ကို ရွေးကောက် ၍ ငါနှင့်တိုက်ခြင်းငှါ လာပါစေ။
