a flexural strength of 112 mpa according to astm d 790
paindetugevus 112 mpa vastavalt meetodile astm d 790

of a flexural strength of 50-90 mpa (as determined by the astm d790 method),
paindetugevusega 50–90 mpa (määratud astm d790 meetodiga);

the test stand must have a high degree of flexural and torsional rigidity and its bearings and guides must have no more than the technically necessary clearance.

the material of which the model is made is not important in itself, provided that the model both in the intact and damaged condition is sufficiently rigid to ensure that its hydrostatic properties are the same as those of the actual ship and also that the flexural response of the hull in waves is negligible.
