an interim administrator was appointed to carry on the governance of the state, during which time the government of india held a un supervised and attested plebiscite in his domain.[4] participants voted in favour of union with india and on 15 february 1948 the accession to pakistan was rescinded. after the state acceded to india it was merged with the federated state of saurashtra on 20 february 1949.[4]
સંયુક્ત રાષ્ટ્રના આ રાજ્યના નિરીક્ષકો હેઠળ લોકમત લેવાય ત્યાં સુધી એક મધ્યસ્થ વ્યવસ્થાપકની નિમણૂંક કરવામાં આવી હતી[4]. લોકોએ ભારતીય સંઘરાજ્યની તરફેણમાં લોકમત આપ્યો અને ૧૫ ફેબ્રુઆરી ૧૯૪૮ના દિવસે પાકિસ્તાનમાં વિલિનીકરણનો નિર્ણય રદ્દ થયો. ૨૦ ફેબ્રુઆરી ૧૯૪૯ના દિવસે આ રજવાડાને ભારતના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર રાજ્યમાં વિલિન કરવામાં આવ્યો.[4]
