यदपि रेल प्रशासन के द्वारा प्रेषकपरेषिती के सामान आदि की गई क्षतिपूर्ति या यात्रियो के हताहत होने का दिए गये मुआवजे से संतुष्ट ना होने पर वो कोर्ट मे मामला दर्ज कर सकते हैं जिससे दावा के निर्णय मे बहुत ज्यादा समय लगता था और मुकदमेबाजी बहुत ज्यादा समय तक चलती थी ।
