ऐ रसूल तुम कह दो कि ऐ अहले किताब तुम अपने दीन में नाहक़ ज्यादती न करो और न उन लोगों की नफ़सियानी ख्वाहिशों पर चलो जो पहले ख़ुद ही गुमराह हो चुके और बहुतेरों को गुमराह कर छोड़ा और राहे रास्त से भटक गए

we have put you on the right way in the matter . so follow it , and do not follow the wishes of those who are ignorant .
फिर हमने तुम्हें इस मामलें में एक खुले मार्ग पर कर दिया । अतः तुम उसी पर चलो और उन लोगों की इच्छाओं का अनुपालन न करना जो जानते नहीं

, allah increases in guidance those who follow the right way . lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your lord as reward and conducive to a better end .
और जो लोग राहे रास्त पर हैं खुदा उनकी हिदायत और ज्यादा करता जाता है और बाक़ी रह जाने वाली नेकियाँ तुम्हारे परवरदिगार के नज़दीक सवाब की राह से भी बेहतर है और अन्जाम के ऐतबार से बेहतर है

surely your lord - - he best knows who goes astray from his way , and he best knows those who follow the right course .
जो लोग उसकी राह से बहके हुए हैं उनको ख़ुदा ही ख़ूब जानता है और वह तो हिदायत याफ्ता लोगों से भी ख़ूब वाक़िफ है
