या वे समझते है कि हम उनकी छिपी बात और उनकी कानाफूसी को सुनते नही ? क्यों नहीं , और हमारे भेजे हुए उनके समीप हैं , वे लिखते रहते है । "

said : we augur ill of you . if ye desist not , we shall surely stone you , and grievous torture will befall you at our hands .
वे बोले , " हम तो तुम्हें अपशकुन समझते है , यदि तुम बाज न आए तो हम तुम्हें पथराव करके मार डालेंगे और तुम्हें अवश्य हमारी ओर से दुखद यातना पहुँचेगी । "

इस सफर का कोई अंतिम लक्ष्य है या नहीं , यह हम नहीं जानते ; लेकिन इसके अपने फायदे हैं और यह उन लक्ष्यों की ओर संकेत करता है , जो हमारी पंहुच में काफी नजदीक हैं और जहां से फिर आगे बढ़ने के लिए एक नयी कोशिश शुरू की जा सकती है ।
