क्या आपके चरणों की दीप्ति उस पद्म में खिल उठी हे , जिस पर आप खड़े है ?

why standest thou afar off, o lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
हे यहोवा तू क्यों दूर खड़ा रहता है? संकट के समय में क्यों छिपा रहता है?

then said the lord to him, put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
तब प्रभु ने उस से कहा; अपने पावों से जूती उतार ले, क्योंकि जिस जगह तू खड़ा है, वह पवित्रा भूमि है।

and he said, draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
उस ने कहा इधर पास मत आ, और अपने पांवों से जूतियों को उतार दे, क्योंकि जिस स्थान पर तू खड़ा है वह पवित्रा भूमि है।

now await in patience the command of thy lord : for verily thou art in our eyes : and celebrate the praises of thy lord the while thou standest forth ,
और तुम अपने परवरदिगार के हुक्म से इन्तेज़ार में सब्र किए रहो तो तुम बिल्कुल हमारी निगेहदाश्त में हो तो जब तुम उठा करो तो अपने परवरदिगार की हम्द की तस्बीह किया करो

and he said, come in, thou blessed of the lord; wherefore standest thou without? for i have prepared the house, and room for the camels.
उस ने कहा, हे यहोवा की ओर से धन्य पुरूष भीतर आ : तू क्यों बाहर खड़ा है ? मैं ने घर को, और ऊंटो के लिये भी स्थान तैयार किया है।

and the captain of the lord's host said unto joshua, loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. and joshua did so.
यहोवा की सेना के प्रधान ने यहोशू से कहा, अपनी जूती पांव से उतार डाल, क्योंकि जिस स्थान पर तू खड़ा है वह पवित्रा है। तब यहोशू ने वैसा ही किया।।

और अहले किताब कुछ ऐसे भी हैं कि अगर उनके पास रूपए की ढेर अमानत रख दो तो भी उसे वैसे ही तुम्हारे हवाले कर देंगे और बाज़ ऐसे हें कि अगर एक अशर्फ़ी भी अमानत रखो तो जब तक तुम बराबर पर खड़े न रहोगे तुम्हें वापस न देंगे ये इस वजह से है कि उन का तो ये क़ौल है कि जाहिलो में हम पर कोई इल्ज़ाम की राह ही नहीं और जान बूझ कर खुदा पर झूठ जोड़ते हैं
