क्या तुमने उन लोगों की हालत पर ग़ौर नहीं किया जो उन लोगों से दोस्ती करते हैं जिन पर ख़ुदा ने ग़ज़ब ढाया है तो अब वह न तुम मे हैं और न उनमें ये लोग जानबूझ कर झूठी बातो पर क़समें खाते हैं और वह जानते हैं

say : ' for this i ask of you no wage , and i am not of those who take things upon themselves .
तुम कह दो कि मैं तो तुमसे न इस की मज़दूरी माँगता हूँ और न मैं बनावट करने वाला हूँ

i speak not of you all: i know whom i have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, he that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
मैं तुम सब के विषय में नहीं कहता: जिन्हें मैं ने चुन लिया है, उन्हें मैं जानता हूं: परन्तु यह इसलिये है, कि पवित्रा शास्त्रा का यह वचन पूरा हो, कि जो मेरी रोटी खाता है, उस ने मुझ पर लात उठाई।

and enjoin as - salat on your family , and be patient in offering them . we ask not of you a provision ; we provide for you . and the good end is for the muttaqun .
और अपने घर वालों को नमाज़ का हुक्म दो और तुम खुद भी उसके पाबन्द रहो हम तुम से रोज़ी तो तलब करते नहीं हम तो खुद तुमको रोज़ी देते हैं और परहेज़गारी ही का तो अन्जाम बखैर है

and o my people , i ask not of you for it any wealth . my reward is not but from allah . and i am not one to drive away those who have believed . indeed , they will meet their lord , but i see that you are a people behaving ignorantly .
और तुम हो कि उसको नापसन्द किए जाते हो और ऐ मेरी क़ौम मैं तो तुमसे इसके सिले में कुछ माल का तालिब नहीं मेरी मज़दूरी तो सिर्फ ख़ुदा के ज़िम्मे है और मै तो तुम्हारे कहने से उन लोगों को जो ईमान ला चुके हैं निकाल नहीं सकता ये लोग भी ज़रुर अपने परवरदिगार के हुज़ूर में हाज़िर होगें मगर मै तो देखता हूँ कि कुछ तुम ही लोग जिहालत करते हो

and , o my people , i ask not of you any riches therefor ; my hire is not but with allah . and i am not going to drive away those who have believed ; verily they are going to meet their lord ; but i behold you a people ignorant !
