l’opera è concepita come un dialogo giocato sull’ambiguità che è prima di tutto linguistica: shift è una parola inglese che vuol dire “spostamento”, ma implica anche altri significati tra cui “tubino”, l’abito femminile creato da coco chanel negli anni venti, tuttora indumento cult.
