and there will remain the face of your lord, owner of majesty and honor.
ته‌نها زاتی په‌روه‌ردگاری خاوه‌ن بڵندی و ڕێزداری تۆیه که‌ده‌مێنێته‌وه

and the face of your lord full of majesty and honour will abide forever.
ته‌نها زاتی په‌روه‌ردگاری خاوه‌ن بڵندی و ڕێزداری تۆیه که‌ده‌مێنێته‌وه

on that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down,
له‌و ڕۆژه‌دا چه‌ند ڕووخسارانێك خه‌جاڵه‌ت و ڕه‌نگ زه‌رد و شه‌رمه‌زار و زه‌بوونن.

'we feed you only for the face of god; we desire no recompense from you, no thankfulness;
ده‌ڵێن: بێگومان ئێمه ئه‌م خۆراکه‌تان هه‌ر له‌به‌ر خواو بۆ به‌ده‌ستهێنانی ڕه‌زامه‌ندی ئه‌و پێده‌به‌خشین، نه پاداشتمان لێتان ده‌وێت نه سوپاس.

but will abide (for ever) the face of thy lord,- full of majesty, bounty and honour.
ته‌نها زاتی په‌روه‌ردگاری خاوه‌ن بڵندی و ڕێزداری تۆیه که‌ده‌مێنێته‌وه

so he resolved to remove them from the face of the earth: but we did drown him and all who were with him.
جا فیرعه‌ون ویستی له‌سه‌ر زه‌وی میسر به‌یه‌کجاری و به‌سوکایه‌تی کردنه‌وه ده‌ربه‌ده‌ریان بکات، ئێمه‌ش نوقمی ده‌ریامان کرد، خۆی و هه‌رچی ئه‌وانه‌ی که له گه‌ڵیدا بوون.

ده‌ڵێن: بێگومان ئێمه ئه‌م خۆراکه‌تان هه‌ر له‌به‌ر خواو بۆ به‌ده‌ستهێنانی ڕه‌زامه‌ندی ئه‌و پێده‌به‌خشین، نه پاداشتمان لێتان ده‌وێت نه سوپاس.

and give to the kinsman his due, and to the needy, and to the destitute traveler. that is best for those who desire the face of allah; such will surely prosper.
که‌واته ئه‌ی ئیماندار: مافی خزمان بده‌، له هه‌ر ڕوویه‌که‌وه مافیان ده‌که‌وێته سه‌رت جێبه‌جێی بکه‌، هه‌روه‌ها مافی هه‌ژاران و ڕێبوارانیش فه‌رامۆش مه‌که‌، ئه‌و ڕه‌فتارانه چاکترو په‌سه‌ندتره بۆ ئه‌و که‌سانه‌ی که مه‌به‌ستیان ڕه‌زامه‌ندی خوایه‌، بێگومان هه‌ر ئه‌وانه‌ش سه‌رفرازو سه‌رکه‌وتوون.

"go with this shirt of mine, and cast it over the face of my father, he will become clear-sighted, and bring to me all your family."
(یوسف هه‌واڵی باوکی پرسی، که زانی نابینا بووه وتی): بڕۆن ئه‌م کراسه‌م به‌رن و بیده‌ن به‌سه‌رو ڕووی باوکمدا بینایی بۆ ده‌گه‌ڕێته‌وه و چاوی چاك ده‌بێته‌وه‌، پاشان هه‌موو که‌س و کارتانم بۆ بهێنن به‌گشتی.

patient men, desiring the face of their lord, establish their prayers, and spend of what we have given them in private and in public; and who wardoff evil with good. theirs shall be the ultimate abode.
ئه‌وانه‌شن که دانیان به‌خۆدا گرت و به ئارام بوون بۆ به‌ده‌ستهێنانی ڕه‌زامه‌ندیی په‌روه‌ردگاریان و نوێژه‌که‌شیان به چاکی ئه‌نجام داوه‌و له‌و ڕزق و ڕۆزیه‌ش که پێمان به‌خشیوون به‌خشیویانه‌، به‌نهێنی و به ئاشکراو به‌چاکه‌کاری و شێوازی جوان پاڵ به نادروستی و هه‌ڵه و خراپکارایه‌وه ده‌نێن، ئا ئه‌وانه سه‌رئه‌نجامه‌که‌یان ئه‌و خانووبه‌ره (ڕازاوه‌یه‌یه له به‌هه‌شتدا)....

but when they shall see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be sorry, and it shall be said; this is that which you used to call for.
کاتێك بینیان ئه‌و به‌ڵێنه خواییه یه‌خه‌یان پێ ده‌گرێت، چڕوچاوی ئه‌وانه‌ی که باوه‌ڕیان نه‌بووه‌، تاڵ و ترش و ناشرین ده‌کرێت، ئه‌وسا پێیان ده‌وترێت ئا ئه‌مه ئه‌و به‌ڵێنه‌یه که‌پێتان ده‌درا.

and to allah belongs the east and the west. so wherever you [might] turn, there is the face of allah. indeed, allah is all-encompassing and knowing.
ڕۆژهه‌ڵات و ڕۆژئاواو (هه‌موولایه‌ك) هه‌ر خوا خاوه‌نیه‌تی، جا ڕوو بكه‌نه هه‌ر لایه‌ك خوا له‌و جێ یه ئاگای لێتانه‌، به‌ڕاستی خوا فراوانگیرو زانایه‌.

when they see the torment approaching, the faces of the disbelievers will blacken and they will be told, "this is what you wanted to (experience)".
کاتێك بینیان ئه‌و به‌ڵێنه خواییه یه‌خه‌یان پێ ده‌گرێت، چڕوچاوی ئه‌وانه‌ی که باوه‌ڕیان نه‌بووه‌، تاڵ و ترش و ناشرین ده‌کرێت، ئه‌وسا پێیان ده‌وترێت ئا ئه‌مه ئه‌و به‌ڵێنه‌یه که‌پێتان ده‌درا.
