جا هه‌ر له به‌ره‌به‌یاندا ده‌نگه سامناکه‌که‌و بوومه‌له‌رزه‌یه‌ك یه‌خه‌ی پێگرتن.

and the rumbling overtook those who were unjust, so they became motionless bodies in their abodes,
جا ئه‌و ده‌نگه سامناکه‌ی بووه هۆی تیاچوونیان هه‌موو ئه‌وانه‌ی گرت که تاوان و سته‌میان کردو فه‌رمانبه‌رداری په‌روه‌ردگاریان نه‌بوون، سه‌ره‌نجام هه‌موویان له شوێنه‌کانی خۆیاندا که‌وتن به‌ڕووی زه‌ویدا و تیاچوون له به‌ره‌به‌یاندا...

and when our decree came to pass we delivered shu'aib, and those who believed with him by mercy from us, and the rumbling overtook those who were unjust so they became motionless bodies in their abodes,
کاتێکیش فه‌رمانی ئێمه هات بۆ تیاچوونیان، شوعه‌یب و ئه‌وانه‌ی بڕوایان هێنابوو له‌گه‌ڵیدا به‌هۆی به‌زه‌یی و لوطفی خۆمان ڕزگارمان کردن و ده‌نگ و نرکه‌ی تیاچوون تاوانکارو بێ بڕواکانی گرته‌وه و جا هه‌موویان له شوێن و جێگه‌ی خۆیاندا تیاچوون و به‌چۆکدا هاتن له به‌ره‌به‌یاندا.

so each we punished for his sin; of them was he on whom we sent down a violent storm, and of them was he whom the rumbling overtook, and of them was he whom we made to be swallowed up by the earth, and of them was he whom we drowned; and it did not beseem allah that he should be unjust to them, but they were unjust to their own souls.
ئێمه هه‌ر یه‌كێك یان هه‌ر ده‌سته‌یه‌ك له وانه‌مان به سزای تاوانی خۆی گه‌یاند، جا هه‌یان بوو به‌رد بارانمان كرد، هه‌یان بوو ده‌نگ و سه‌دای به هێز له‌ناوی برد، هه‌یان بوو به ناخی زه‌ویدا بردمانه خواره‌وه‌، هه‌شیان بوو نوقمی ده‌ریامان كرد، جا وه نه‌بێت خوا سته‌می لێ كردبن، به‌ڵك و خۆیان سته‌میان له خۆیان ده كرد.
