now jesus loved martha, and her sister, and lazarus.
ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲢⲐⲀ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲘⲀⲢⲒⲀ ⲦⲈⲤⲤⲰⲚⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲖⲀⲌⲀⲢⲞⲤ.

but the chief priests consulted that they might put lazarus also to death;

and when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, lazarus, come forth.

and there was a certain beggar named lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

now a certain man was sick, named lazarus, of bethany, the town of mary and her sister martha.

the people therefore that was with him when he called lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

then jesus six days before the passover came to bethany, where lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

there they made him a supper; and martha served: but lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
ⲀⲨⲈⲢ ⲞⲨⲆⲒⲠⲚⲞⲚ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲘⲀ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲀⲢⲐⲀ ⲚⲀⲤϢⲈⲘϢⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲖⲀⲌⲀⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲢⲞⲦⲈⲂ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ.

(it was that mary which anointed the lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother lazarus was sick.)
ⲚⲈ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲈ ⲘⲀⲢⲒⲀ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲤⲐⲀϨⲤ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲞϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϤⲰϮ ⲚⲚⲈϤϬ ⲀⲖⲀⲨϪ ⲘⲠⲈⲤϤⲰⲒ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲤⲤⲞⲚ ⲖⲀⲌⲀⲢⲞⲤ ϢⲰⲚⲒ.

these things said he: and after that he saith unto them, our friend lazarus sleepeth; but i go, that i may awake him out of sleep.
ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀϤϪⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲖⲀⲌⲀⲢⲞⲤ ⲠⲈⲚϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲀϤⲚⲔⲞⲦ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲈⲒⲈϢⲈ ⲚⲎⲒ ⲚⲦⲀⲦⲞⲨⲚⲞⲤϤ.

but abraham said, son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
ⲠⲈϪⲈ ⲀⲂⲢⲀⲀⲘ ϪⲈ ⲠⲀϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲀⲢⲒⲪⲘⲈⲨⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀⲔⲞⲨⲰ ⲈⲔϬⲒ ⲚⲚⲈⲔⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲔⲰⲚϦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲖⲀⲌⲀⲢⲞⲤ ϨⲰϤ ⲚⲚⲒⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲤⲈⲐⲰⲦ ⲘⲠⲈϤϨⲎⲦ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲔⲀϨ.

and he cried and said, father abraham, have mercy on me, and send lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for i am tormented in this flame.
