އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ނަމާދުކުރުންމަތީ ދެމިތިބޭމީހުންނެވެ.

those who have brought the truth and have acknowledged it are those who have fear of god.
ތެދާއިގެން އަންނަމީހާއާއި އަދި އެތެދު قبول ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެންނީ، ހަމަ تقوى ވެރިންނެވެ.

އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شيطان އާއަށް އަޅުކަން ނުކުރުމަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އަމުރުނުކުރައްވަން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އޭނާޔަކީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްހުރި، ފާޅުވެގެންވާ عداوة ތެރިޔެކެވެ.

o believers, come to full submission to god. do not follow in the footsteps of satan your acknowledged foe.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެންމެން إسلام دين އަށް ކިޔަމަންވުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ވަންނާށެވެ! އަދި شيطان އާގެ ފިޔަވަޅުތަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ނުވާށެވެ! އެހެނީ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އެ شيطان އާ އަކީ ތިޔަ ބައިމީހުންނަށް ހުރި بيان ވެގެންވާ عدوّ އެކެވެ.

in fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the messengers (who were sent before him).
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވަޑައިގަތީ، حق دين އާއިގެންނެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު (ކުރީގެ) رسول ން ތެދުކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

and [there are] others who have acknowledged their sins. they had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad.
އަދި އެހެންބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ކުށްތަކަށް اعتراف ވޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހެޔޮ عمل އަކާއި، ނުބައި އެހެން ކަމަކާ އެއްކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ. اللَّه، އެއުރެން މައްޗަށް توبة ލެއްވުން ގާތްވެގެންވެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and (there are) others who have acknowledged their faults. they mixed a righteous action with another that was bad.
އަދި އެހެންބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ކުށްތަކަށް اعتراف ވޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހެޔޮ عمل އަކާއި، ނުބައި އެހެން ކަމަކާ އެއްކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ. اللَّه، އެއުރެން މައްޗަށް توبة ލެއްވުން ގާތްވެގެންވެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and those who argue concerning allah after he hath been acknowledged, their argument hath no weight with their lord, and wrath is upon them and theirs will be an awful doom.
މީސްތަކުން އެކަލާނގެ دين قبول ކޮށް އިޖާބަދިނުމަށްފަހު، اللَّه ގެ دين އާމެދު، ޖަދަލުކުރާ މީހުންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ حجّة باطل ވެގެންވާ ބަޔެކެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ކޯފާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި (آخرة ގައި) ވަނީ ގަދަފަދަ عذاب އެވެ.

and they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, wrongfully and out of pride. behold, how was the end of the workers of corruption!
އަދި އެ آية ތައް އެއީ، ތެދުކަން އެއުރެންގެ نفس ތަކަށް يقين ވެތިބެ، އަނިޔާވެރިކަމާއި، ބޮޑާވެގަތުމުގެ ގޮތުން، އެ آية ތަކަށް އެއުރެން إنكار ކުރޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، فساد ކުރާމީހުންގެ ނިމުންވަނީ ކިހިނަކުންކަން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, for spite and arrogance. then see the nature of the consequence for the wrong-doers!
އަދި އެ آية ތައް އެއީ، ތެދުކަން އެއުރެންގެ نفس ތަކަށް يقين ވެތިބެ، އަނިޔާވެރިކަމާއި، ބޮޑާވެގަތުމުގެ ގޮތުން، އެ آية ތަކަށް އެއުރެން إنكار ކުރޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، فساد ކުރާމީހުންގެ ނިމުންވަނީ ކިހިނަކުންކަން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and (there are) others who have acknowledged their sins, they have mixed a deed that was righteous with another that was evil. perhaps allah will turn unto them in forgiveness.
އަދި އެހެންބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ކުށްތަކަށް اعتراف ވޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހެޔޮ عمل އަކާއި، ނުބައި އެހެން ކަމަކާ އެއްކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ. اللَّه، އެއުރެން މައްޗަށް توبة ލެއްވުން ގާތްވެގެންވެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and there are others who have acknowledged their sins and mixed a good deed with another that was bad; it is likely that allah will accept their repentance; indeed allah is oft forgiving, most merciful.
އަދި އެހެންބަޔަކު އެއުރެންގެ ކުށްތަކަށް اعتراف ވޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހެޔޮ عمل އަކާއި، ނުބައި އެހެން ކަމަކާ އެއްކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ. اللَّه، އެއުރެން މައްޗަށް توبة ލެއްވުން ގާތްވެގެންވެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

they all answered, "we will worship the same one allah whom you, your forefathers abraham. ismail and isaac acknowledged as their allah and to him we all surrender as muslims."
ނުވަތަ يعقوب ގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް މަރުއައިސް حاضر ވިހިނދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން حاضر ވެ ދެކެންތިބީމުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެހިނދު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިދަރިކަލުންނަށް އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ތިމަން މަރުވެދިޔުމަށްފަހު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަޅުކަންކުރާނީ ކޮންފަރާތަކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެން އަޅުކަންކުރާނީ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ إله އަށެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކާބަފައިކަލުނަވި إبراهيم ގެފާނާއި إسماعيل ގެފާނާއި إسحاق ގެފާނުގެ إله އަށެވެ. އެއީ، އެއްކައުވަންތަ ކަލާނގެއެވެ. ތިމަންމެން މިތިބީ، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ކިޔަމަންވެ مسلم ން ކަމުގައި ވެގެންނެވެ.

and [recall, o people of the scripture], when allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "whatever i give you of the scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [allah] said, "have you acknowledged and taken upon that my commitment?"
ނަބިއްޔުންގެ ކިބައިން، اللَّه ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد ހިއްޕެވިހިނދު (ކަންހިނގިގޮތް ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އެހިނދު اللَّه އެންގެވިއެވެ.) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބޭކަލުންނަށް ފޮތާއި حكمة ދެއްވީމާ ދެން ތިޔަބޭކަލުންގެ ގާތުގައިވާ އެއްޗެއް ތެދުކުރައްވާ رسول އަކު ތިޔަބޭކަލުންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަތުމުން، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބޭކަލުން، އެބޭކަލަކަށް إيمان ވާ ހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެބޭކަލަކަށް ތިޔަބޭކަލުން نصر ދޭހުށިކަމެވެ! އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބޭކަލުން إقرار ވެ، އެކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد ހިފައިފީމުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެބޭކަލުން ދެންނެވިއެވެ. އަޅަމެން إقرار ވެއްޖައީމުއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބޭކަލުން (އެކަމަށް) ހެކިވާށެވެ! ހެކިވާމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިޔަބޭކަލުންނާ އެކުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.
