(އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) އަރާމުލިބެނިވިގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިބޮއި އުޅޭށެވެ! ދުނިޔޭގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހޭދަކުރި ދުވަސްތަކުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރި ހެޔޮ عمل ތަކުގެ ޖަޒާއެއްގެ ގޮތުންނެވެ.

eat and drink with benefit for that which ye sent on beforehand in dayspast.
(އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) އަރާމުލިބެނިވިގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިބޮއި އުޅޭށެވެ! ދުނިޔޭގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހޭދަކުރި ދުވަސްތަކުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރި ހެޔޮ عمل ތަކުގެ ޖަޒާއެއްގެ ގޮތުންނެވެ.

certainly our decree has gone beforehand in favour of our servants, the apostles,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އަޅުންކަމުގައިވާ رسول ންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (نصر ދެއްވާނެކަމުގެ) ބަސްފުޅުވަނީ، އިސްވެގޮސްފައެވެ.

he will say, "oh, would that i had provided beforehand for my life!"
އެދުވަހުން އޭނާ ބުނާނެތެވެ. އޭ ސަހަރޯއެވެ! ތިމަންގެ آخرة ގެ حياة އަށްޓަކައި (ހެޔޮ) عمل އެއް އިސްކުޅަނަމަ، ކިހާރަނގަޅުވީސް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

god will say, "do not quarrel in my presence. i gave you the warning beforehand
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެބަސްވެ އަރާރުން ނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عذاب ގެ وعيد ވަނީ އިސްކުރައްވާފައެވެ.

he will say: do not quarrel in my presence, and indeed i gave you the threatening beforehand:
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެބަސްވެ އަރާރުން ނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عذاب ގެ وعيد ވަނީ އިސްކުރައްވާފައެވެ.

he shall say, 'dispute not before me! for i sent you beforehand -- the threat.
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެބަސްވެ އަރާރުން ނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عذاب ގެ وعيد ވަނީ އިސްކުރައްވާފައެވެ.

then thereafter will come seven hard years which will devour that which ye have laid up beforehand for them except a little which ye shall preserve.
ދެން އެއަށްފަހު، ތަދުމަޑު ހަތް އަހަރު އަންނާނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރައްކާކުރި ތަކެތިން މަދުއެތިކޮޅެއް މެނުވީ، އެ އަހަރުތަކަށް ބަހައްޓާފައިހުރި ތަކެތި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިހުސްކުރާނޫއެވެ.

he (allah) will say: 'do not dispute before me. i sent you a warning beforehand.
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެބަސްވެ އަރާރުން ނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عذاب ގެ وعيد ވަނީ އިސްކުރައްވާފައެވެ.

believers, when you come to consult the messenger privately, give something in charity beforehand. that is best for you and most conducive to purity.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން رسول އާއަށް مناجاة އެއް ދަންނަވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مناجاة ދެންނެވުމުގެ ކުރީގައި (فقير ންނަށް) صدقات އެއް ކުރިމަތިކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އެގޮތް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަންބޮޑެވެ. އަދި طاهر ކަންބޮޑުމެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް صدقات އެއް ކުރާނޭ އެއްޗެއް ނުލިބުނުނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

then there shall come after that seven years of hardship which shall eat away all that you have beforehand laid up in store for them, except a little of what you shall have preserved:
ދެން އެއަށްފަހު، ތަދުމަޑު ހަތް އަހަރު އަންނާނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރައްކާކުރި ތަކެތިން މަދުއެތިކޮޅެއް މެނުވީ، އެ އަހަރުތަކަށް ބަހައްޓާފައިހުރި ތަކެތި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިހުސްކުރާނޫއެވެ.

beforehand they had already sought to stir up sedition, and turned things upside down for you, until the truth came, and the command of allah appeared, although they were averse.
ކުރިންވެސް އެއުރެން ފިތުނަވެރިކަމަށް އެދިގެން އުޅުނުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ أمر ފުޅު ފާޅުވެ، حق ބަސްފުޅު އަތުވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން، އެއުރެން (އެކަމަށް) ނުރުހޭ حال ގައި، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ކެހިދިނުމުގެ ކަންތައް އެއުރެން ރާވައި އުޅުނޫއެވެ.

if good befalls you, it grieves them, but if a misfortune befalls you, they say, "we took our precautions beforehand!" they turn away rejoicing.
ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ހެޔޮގޮތެއް މެދުވެރިވެއްޖެނަމަަ، އެކަން އެއުރެންނަށް ހިތާމައަކަށް ވެތެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނަށް مصيبة އެއް މެދުވެރިވެއްޖެނަމަ، އެއުރެން ބުނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެން ކުރިއްސުރެން މިތިބީ، ރައްކާތެރިކަމުގައި ހިފައިގެންނެވެ. އަދި އުފަލުންތިބެ، އެއުރެން އެނބުރި ހިނގައިދާނެތެވެ.

and aaron indeed had told them beforehand: o my people! ye are but being seduced therewith, for lo! your lord is the beneficent, so follow me and obey my order.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މީގެކުރިން هارون ގެފާނު އެއުރެންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. އޭ އަހުރެންގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނޭވެ! އެ ގެރި މެދުވެރިކޮށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން امتحان ކުރެއްވީކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް تبع ވާށެވެ! އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أمر އަށް ކިޔަމަންވާށެވެ!

allah has promised you many gains that ye shall acquire, and he has given you these beforehand; and he has restrained the hands of men from you; that it may be a sign for the believers, and that he may guide you to a straight path;
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ލިބޭނެ ގިނަ غنيمة މުދާތަކެއް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް اللَّه وعد ކުރައްވާފައިވެެއެވެ. ފަހެ، މިކަންތައް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަލާނގެ އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން މީސްތަކުންގެ އަތްތައް (އެބަހީ: އުނދަގޫތައް) ދުރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި (مؤمن ންނަށް نصر ލިބޭނެކަމުގެ) ހެތްކެއްކަމުގައި އެކަން ވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގަކަށް މަގުދެއްކެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
