އެއުރެންގެ ކައިރިޔަށް އެރަށުގެ ހުރިހާ ފަރާތަކުން عدوّ ން އަރައި، ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން ފިތުނަވެރިކަމަށް އެދުނުނަމަ، އެކަން އެއުރެން ގެނެސްގަތީހެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން އެރަށުގައި ކުޑަހިނދުކޮޅަކަށް މެނުވީ ލަސްވެ ނުތިބީހެވެ.

and if they had been entered upon from all its [surrounding] regions and fitnah had been demanded of them, they would have done it and not hesitated over it except briefly.
އެއުރެންގެ ކައިރިޔަށް އެރަށުގެ ހުރިހާ ފަރާތަކުން عدوّ ން އަރައި، ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން ފިތުނަވެރިކަމަށް އެދުނުނަމަ، އެކަން އެއުރެން ގެނެސްގަތީހެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން އެރަށުގައި ކުޑަހިނދުކޮޅަކަށް މެނުވީ ލަސްވެ ނުތިބީހެވެ.

and how many a city have we destroyed that was insolent in its [way of] living, and those are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except briefly. and it is we who were the inheritors.
އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވި ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ތަނަވަސްކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް كبر ވެރިވެގެން އުޅުނު ކިތައްކިތައް ރަށުގެ أهل ވެރިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަލާކުކޮށްލެއްވިން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ ގެދޮރު (ފެންނާން) އެހުރީއެވެ. ވަރަށްމަދު ހިނދުކޮޅެއްގައި މެނުވީ، އެއިން ގެއެއްގައި އެއުރެންނަށްފަހު، މީހަކަށް ނޫޅެވެތެވެ. އަދި ދެމިހުންނަނިވި ވާރުތަވެރިޔަކީވެސް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. (އެބަހީ: އެންމެހާ ތަކެތި ފަނާވެދިއުމަށްފަހުވެސް ދިރިދެމިވޮޑިގެންވަނީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.)

if the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a sickness, and the rumourmongers in the city do not desist, we will prompt you [to take action] against them; then they will not be your neighbours in it except briefly.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، منافق ންނާއި އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއް އުފެދިފައިވާ މީހުންނާއި، مؤمن ން ބިރުގެންނެވުމަށް المدينة ގައި ދޮގު ވާހަކަތައް ފަތުރައި، ފިތުނައުފައްދާ މީހުން އެކަން ހުއްޓައިނުލިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ފާކުރައްވައި ފޮނުއްވައިފާހުށީމެވެ. ދެންފަހެ ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަވަށްޓެރިންގެ ގޮތުގައި ވަރަށް ކުރު މުއްދަތަކަށް މެނުވީ އެއުރެން އެރަށުގައި ނުތިބޭނެތެވެ.
