އެތަކެތި ހަދަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ ހައްދަވާ ފަރާތަކީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

“taste your ordeal. this is what you used to challenge.”
(އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ! މިއީ (ދުނިޔެމަތީގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަވަސްވުންއެދި އުޅުނު عذاب އެވެ.

those who try to challenge our revelations will be driven into torment.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދު ދެކޮޅުހަދަން މަސައްކަތްކުރާ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެން عذاب ގެތެރެޔަށް حاضر ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

to replace them by a better people and none can challenge our power.
ފަހެ، مشرق ތަކާއި، مغرب ތަކުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ގަންދެއްވައި وحى ކުރައްވަމެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ބަދަލުގައި، އެއުރެންނަށްވުރެން ހެޔޮބަޔަކު ގެންނެވުމަށް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކުޅަދުންވަންތަކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ނުކުޅެދިވޮޑިގެންވާ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި ނުވަމެވެ.

those who try to challenge our miracles will be the dwellers of hell."
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކާމެދު، ދެކޮޅުހަދައި ނުކުޅައްދަން އުޅޭމީހުންނަކީ، ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނެވެ.

ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (ބާވައިލެއްވި) آية ތަކާ ދެކޮޅުހަދަމުން ހިނގިމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ވޭންދެވިނި އެންމެގަދަ عذاب ން އެއުރެންނަށް عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

we knew that we could never challenge god whether we stayed on earth or fled elsewhere.
އަދި ތިމަންމެންނަށް ބިމުގައި اللَّه ނުކުޅައްދައި ނުލެވޭނެކަމާއި، އަދި އެކަލާނގެއަށް ފިލައިގެން ދިޔުމުގައިވެސް ނުކުޅައްދައި ނުލެވޭނެކަން ތިމަންމެން يقين ކުރަމުއެވެ.

you cannot challenge god on earth and you will have no one besides him as your guardian or helper.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ، ބިމުގައި (اللَّه) ނުކުޅައްދައި، ރެކިގެންދާނޭ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް اللَّه ފިޔަވައި އެއްވެސް އެހީތެރިޔަކު، އަދި نصر ދޭނޭމީހަކުވެސް ނުވެތެވެ.

you cannot challenge god in the heavens or in the earth. no one besides god is your guardian or helper.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ އުޑާއި، ބިމުގައި (اللَّه) ނުކުޅެއްދޭނޭ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް اللَّه ފިޔަވައި އެއްވެސް އެހީތެރިޔަކު، އަދި نصر ދޭނޭ މީހަކުވެސް ނުވެތެވެ.

saying, "are our gods better or him?" -- they cite him only to challenge you: they are a contentious people --
އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ރަނގަޅީ، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންތައް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކަލޭގެފާނާ جدل ކުރުމަށް މެނުވީ އެއުރެން އެ مثال ނުޖަހަތެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންނީ ހަމަދެކޮޅުވެރިކަން ބޮޑު ބަޔެކެވެ.

have they not travelled (sufficiently) through the land to see how terrible was the end of the mightier people who lived before them. nothing in the heavens or the earth can challenge god.
އެއުރެން ބިމުގައި ދަތުރު ފަތުރުކޮށް، އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން އުޅުނު މީހުންގެ ނިމުންވީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންކަން، ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ނުބަލަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި އެއުރެންނަށްވުރެ (އެބަހީ: مكة ގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށްވުރެން) ބާރުގަދަ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި އެއުރެންވޫއެވެ. އަދި އުޑުތަކުގައިވިޔަސް، ބިމުގައިވިޔަސް، اللَّه ނުކުޅައްދާނެ އެއްވެސް އެއްޗެއް ނުވެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެއީ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ، ކުޅަދުންވަންތަ ކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

if they cannot meet such a challenge, know that they are only following their (evil) desires. who strays more than one who follows his desires without guidance from god?
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އިޖާބަ ނުދިންނަމަ (އެބަހީ: ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން އެދިވަޑައިގެންނެވި ކަންތައް، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުކުރެވިއްޖެނަމަ) ފަހެ، ދެނެވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން އެ تبع ވަނީ، ހަމައެކަނި އެއުރެންގެ (ނުބައި) އެދުންތަކަށެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން ތެދުމަގަކާނުލައި، އެމީހެއްގެ އަމިއްލަ އެދުމަށް تبع ވީ މީހަކަށްވުރެ މަގުފުރެދުންބޮޑީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަނިޔާވެރި ބަޔަކަށް اللَّه ތެދުމަގެއް ނުދައްކަވާނެތެވެ.

so if they do not accept your challenge, then know that they only follow their desires; and who is more astray than one who follows his desires away from the guidance of allah? indeed allah does not guide the unjust.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އިޖާބަ ނުދިންނަމަ (އެބަހީ: ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން އެދިވަޑައިގެންނެވި ކަންތައް، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުކުރެވިއްޖެނަމަ) ފަހެ، ދެނެވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން އެ تبع ވަނީ، ހަމައެކަނި އެއުރެންގެ (ނުބައި) އެދުންތަކަށެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން ތެދުމަގަކާނުލައި، އެމީހެއްގެ އަމިއްލަ އެދުމަށް تبع ވީ މީހަކަށްވުރެ މަގުފުރެދުންބޮޑީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަނިޔާވެރި ބަޔަކަށް اللَّه ތެދުމަގެއް ނުދައްކަވާނެތެވެ.

a brief enjoyment in this world! - and then unto us will be their return, then we shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve [in allah, belie his messengers, deny and challenge his ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc.)].
ދުނިޔޭގައި (ލިބޭ) ވަގުތީ އުފަލެކެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން رجوع ވުން ވަނީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން كافر ވެ އުޅުނުކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދައްކަވާހުށީމެވެ.
