موسى ގެފާނުގެ ކިބައިން ކޯފާމަޑުވިހިނދު (توراة ގެ) ފިލާތައް ނެންގެވިއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ބިރުވެތިވާ މީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ހުރި ތެދުމަގާއި، رحمة، އެ ފިލާތަކުގެ ލިޔުމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

and when they have fallen on their flanks, eat from them, and feed the self-contained needy and the mendicant. thus have we disposed them for your benefit so that you may give thanks.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، ޖަމަލުވެސް اللَّه ގެ شعائر ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލެއްވީމެވެ. އޭގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަމެއްވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެތަކެތި ބަނދެ (ކަތިލާހިނދުގައި) އެ ތަކެތީގެ މައްޗަށް اللَّه ގެ اسم ފުޅު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެތަކެތި (މަރުވެ) ވެއްޓުމުން އެއިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާށެވެ! އަދި އެއަށްއެދި سؤال ކުރާ فقير ންނާއި، سؤال ނުކުރާ فقير ންނަށްވެސް އެއިން ކާންދޭށެވެ! އެފަދައިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެތަކެތި خدمة ތެރިކުރެއްވީމެވެ. (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and when a messenger from allah came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the scripture threw the scripture of allah behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained].
އަދި އެއުރެންނާއެކުގައިވާ ފޮތް ތެދުކުރައްވާ رسول އަކު، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަތްހިނދު، ފޮތް ލިބުނު މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަޔަކު، اللَّه ގެ ފޮތް އެއުރެންގެ ފުރަގަހަށް އެއްލައިލިއެވެ. (އެއީ، اللَّه ބާވައިލެއްވި ފޮތެއްކަންވެސް) އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަ ކަހަލައެވެ.

call to mind the time when we raised above you the tur and made a covenant with you, saying, "hold fast to the book which we are giving you and bear in mind the commands and precepts contained therein. it is expected that this will lead you on to the paths of virtue and piety."
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد ހިއްޕަވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ (ބޮލާދިމާ) މައްޗަށް طور ފަރުބަދަ އުފުއްލެވި ހިނދު، ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! (އެހިނދު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެންގެވީމެވެ.) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެއްވި އެއްޗެއްގައި (އެބަހީ: ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮތުގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގަދަޔަށް ހިފަހައްޓާށެވެ! އަދި އެފޮތުގައިވާ ގޮތް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަ ކުރާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تقوى ވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
