i call to witness the qur'an, custodian of all laws, --
حكمة ތެރި قرآن ގަންދެއްވައި وحى ކުރައްވަމެވެ.

joseph said, "place in my charge the storehouses of the land; for i am a good and knowledgeable custodian."
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. (مصر ގެ) ބިމުގެ خزانة ތަކުގެ ވެރިޔަކަށް ތިމަން ލައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންނާއީ (އެއަށް) ރައްކާތެރިވާ (އެއާބެހޭ ކަންތައްތައް) ރަނގަޅަށް ދަންނަ މީހަކީމެވެ.

and what is with them that allah should not punish them, whereas in fact they prevent from the sacred mosque and they are not worthy (of being the custodians) of it; only the pious are its befitting custodians, but most of them do not have knowledge.
އެއުރެންނަށް اللَّه، عذاب ނުދެއްވުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް އޮތީ ކޮން عذر އެއް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެން އެތިބަ حرمة ތެރިވެގެންވާ މިސްކިތުން (މީސްތަކުން) ދުރުކުރަނީއެވެ. އެއުރެންނަކީ، އެތާނގެ ބެލެހެއްޓުންތެރިންނެއްވެސް ނޫނެވެ. تقوى ވެރިން މެނުވީ އެތާނގެ ބެލެހެއްޓުންތެރިން ކަމުގައި ނުވެތެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، އެއުރެންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުންނަކަށް (އެކަމެއް) ނޭނގެތެވެ.
