ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނިކަމެތިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިން މިންޖުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and those who disbelieved and denied our signs – for them will be a disgraceful punishment.
އަދި كافر ވެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް إهانة ތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

these it is that are truly unbelievers, and we have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނަށް كافر ވާ މީހުންނާއި، اللَّه އާއި އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނާ ދެމެދު (إيمان ވުމުގައި) ތަފާތުކުރަން އެދޭމީހުންނާއި، ތިމަންމެން އެއްބަޔަކަށް إيمان ވަމުއޭ އަދި އަނެއްބަޔަކަށް كافر ވަމުއޭ ބުނެ، އެދެމެދުން މަގެއް ހިފުމަށް އެދޭމީހުން، (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެންނަކީ، ކަނޑައެޅިގެން އެނގޭގޮތުގައި ތިބި كافر ންނެވެ. كافر ންނަށް އިހާނެތި عذاب، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

soon you will know whom a disgraceful punishment will overtake and on whom a lasting punishment will descend.’
ފަހެ، ނިކަމެތިކަން އެމީހަކަށް ދެނިވި عذاب، އެމީހަކާ ހަމައަށް އަންނަނީ، އަދި ދެމިހުންނަނިވި عذاب، އެމީހަކަށް ކުރިމަތިވެގެން އަންނަނީ، ކާކަށްކަން ނިކަންހުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގޭނެތެވެ.

and when he comes to know about any of the verses, he mocks at it; for them is a disgraceful punishment.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކުން އެއްޗެއް އޭނާއަށް އެނގިއްޖެނަމަ، އެއެއްޗެއް ފުރައްސާރައަކަށް ހަދައިގެން އުޅެތެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

they use their oaths as a shield therefore preventing from allah’s way – so for them is a disgraceful punishment.
އެއުރެންގެ ހުވާތަކަކީ އައްޑަނަތަކެއްކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ހެދޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން اللَّه ގެ މަގުން (މީސްތަކުން) އެއްކިބާކުރޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and (as for) those who disbelieve in and reject our communications, these it is who shall have a disgraceful chastisement.
އަދި كافر ވެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް إهانة ތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

those who are niggardly and bid people to be niggardly and hide what allah has given them out of his grace; and we have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.
އެއުރެންނީ، ދަހިވެތިވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި، ދަހިވެތިވުމަށް މީސްތަކުންނަށް أمر ކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުގެ ތެރެއިން އެބަޔަކަށް ދެއްވާފައިވާ ތަކެއްޗާއި ކަންތައް ވަންހަނާކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ. كافر ންނަށްޓަކައި، އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތައްޔާރު ކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

those who are misers and preach miserliness to others, and hide what allah has bestowed upon them from his munificence; and we have kept ready a disgraceful punishment for the disbelievers.
އެއުރެންނީ، ދަހިވެތިވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި، ދަހިވެތިވުމަށް މީސްތަކުންނަށް أمر ކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުގެ ތެރެއިން އެބަޔަކަށް ދެއްވާފައިވާ ތަކެއްޗާއި ކަންތައް ވަންހަނާކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ. كافر ންނަށްޓަކައި، އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތައްޔާރު ކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

so we let loose on them a violent wind for several days of distress to make them taste a most disgraceful punishment here in this world, and far more shameful will be the punishment in the hereafter, and there will be no succour for them.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ސުންޕާދުވަސްތަކެއްގައި، ގަދަ އަޑާއި، ގަދަ ފިނީގެ ވަޔެއް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ حياة ގައި ނިކަމެތިކަމުގެ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްކެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ عذاب ގެ ނިކަމެތިކަން މާބޮޑެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކަށް نصر އެއް ނުލިބޭނެތެވެ.

and let not those who disbelieve think that our granting them respite is better for their souls; we grant them respite only that they may add to their sins; and they shall have a disgraceful chastisement.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް (ޖަޒާ ދެއްވުމުގައި) ލަސްކުރެއްވުން އެއީ، އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް ހެޔޮގޮތެއްކަމަށް كافر ވި މީހުން ހީނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް އެކަން ލަސްކުރައްވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، އެއުރެންގެ ފާފަ އިތުރުވުމަށެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންނަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and regarding the thamud, we showed them the right path – so they chose to be blind above being guided, therefore the thunderbolt of the disgraceful punishment overcame them – the recompense of their deeds.
އަދި ثمود ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ ބަދަލުގައި، ކަނުކަން (އެބަހީ: މަގު ފުރެދުން) اختيار ކުރޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހޯދައިއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب ގެ ހޮނުގުގުރި އެއުރެންގައި ހިފިއެވެ.

and on the day when the disbelievers will be presented upon the fire; it will be said to them, “you have wasted your portion of the good things in the life of this world and enjoyed them; so this day you will be repaid with the disgraceful punishment, the recompense of your wrongfully priding yourself in the land, and because you used to disobey.”
كافر ވިމީހުން ނަރަކަޔަށް ހުށަހަޅުއްވާ ދުވަހު (އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްހުރި ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދުނިޔޭގެ حياة ގައި ނަގާލައި އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއިން އަރާމުލިބިގެންފީމުއެވެ. ފަހެ، حق އަކާނުލައި ބިމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބޮޑާވެ އުޅުނުކަމަށްޓަކައި، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން فاسق ވެގަތް ކަމަށްޓަކައި، މިއަދު އިހާނެތިކަމުގެ ޖަޒާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ލިބޭނެތެވެ.
