ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެފޮތް ލައްވާފައިވަނީ، عرب ބަހުންއޮތް قرآن އެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވިސްނުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

or a little more, and recite the qur'an slowly and distinctly.
ނުވަތަ އެޔަށްވުރެ އިތުރުކޮށްލައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ލަސްލަހުން قرآن ކިޔަވައި ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ!

thus distinctly do we explain our signs that the way of sinners may become distinct.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް بيان ކުރައްވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ. އެއީ ކުށްވެރިންގެ މަގު ބަޔާންވެ އޮތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

or add to it a little; and recite the qur'an slowly and distinctly.
ނުވަތަ އެޔަށްވުރެ އިތުރުކޮށްލައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ލަސްލަހުން قرآن ކިޔަވައި ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ!

that is how we explain our signs distinctly so that they may come back (to the right path).
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވަނީ، އެފަދައިންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން (حق ގެ މަގަށް) އެނބުރި އައުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

nay! i am better than this fellow, who is contemptible, and who can hardly speak distinctly:
އަދި ކީއްހެއްޔެވެ؟ މިހިރަ ދެރަނިކަމެތި މީހާއަށްވުރެ (އެބަހީ: موسى ގެފާނަށްވުރެ) ތިމަން މާމޮޅެވެ. އޭނާއީ، ދައްކާ ވާހަކަ بيان ކޮށްދިނުމާ ގާތްވެސް ނުކުރެވޭ މީހެކެވެ.

those to whom we have given the book know it distinctly as they know their sons; but those who are lost of soul do not believe.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ފޮތް ދެއްވި މީހުން، އެއުރެންގެ ދަރިން ދަންނަ ފަދައިން އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު (އެބަހީ: محمد ގެފާނު) ދަނެތެވެ. (އެބަހީ: توراة އާއި، إنجيل ގެ أهل ވެރިން، محمد ގެފާނަކީ رسول އަކުކަން ރަނގަޅަށް ދަނެތެވެ.) އެއުރެންގެ نفس ތައް ގެއްލެނި ކުޅަމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެން إيمان އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

but if they repent and are firm in devotion and pay the zakat, then they are your brothers in faith. we explain our commands distinctly for those who understand.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން توبة ވެ، ނަމާދު قائم ކޮށް، زكاة ދީފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަކީ، دين ގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ أخ ންނެވެ. އެނގޭބަޔަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް تفصيل ކޮށްދެއްވަމެވެ.

this is a book from one who is all-wise and all-aware. its verses are well composed and distinctly arranged (from one another)
ا ل ر (މި އަކުރުތަކުގެ مراد ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަނީ اللَّه އެވެ.) (މިއީ) ފޮތެކެވެ. އެ ފޮތުގެ آية ތައްވަނީ، އޮޅުމެއްނެތި މާނަ ސާފުކޮށް އެނގޭގޮތުގައި ފުރިހަމަ نظام އަކުން تنظيم ކުރައްވާފައެވެ. އަދި އެ (ފޮތުގައިވާ ހުރިހާ ތަކެއްޗެއް) ވަނީ تفصيل ކޮށް ބަޔާންކުރައްވާފައެވެ. (އެއީ) މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ، حكيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ންނެވެ.

and thus have we sent it down an arabic quran, and have distinctly set forth therein of threats that they may guard (against evil) or that it may produce a reminder for them.
އަދި ހަމައެފަދައިން، عرب ބަހުންވާ قرآن އެއްކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ ފޮތް ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެ ފޮތުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ وعيد ތައް تفصيل ކޮށް بيان ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން ބިރުވެތިވެ، تقوى ވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. ނުވަތަ އެއުރެންނަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދީ، عبرة ލިބިދިނުމަށެވެ.

the unbelievers say, 'why has the koran not been sent down upon him all at once?' even so, that we may strengthen thy heart thereby, and we have chanted it very distinctly.
كافر ވި މީހުން ބުނޫއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ މައްޗަށް އެއްފަހަރާ قرآن ބާވައިނުލެއްވީ ކީއްވެގެންހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެފަދައިންނެވެ. (އެބަހީ: ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ قرآن ބާވައިލެއްވީ އެފަދައިން ބައިބަޔަށެވެ.) އެއީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއިން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅަށް ސާބިތުކަން ދެއްވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ قرآن ލަސްލަހުން ކިޔަވައިދެއްވުމަކުން ކިޔަވައިދެއްވީމެވެ.

we have created night and day as two signs, then we efface the sign of the night, and make the sign of the day resplendent that you may seek the bounty of your lord, and know the computation of years and numbers. we have expounded most distinctly everything.
ރޭގަނޑާއި، ދުވާލަކީ، ދެ ހެކިކަމުގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލެއްވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، ރޭގަނޑުގެ ހެކިން نور ފުހެލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ދުވާލުގެ ހެކި އެއީ (ތަންތަން) ދައްކައިދޭ އެއްޗެއްކަމުގައި ލެއްވީމެވެ. (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، فضل ވަންތަކަން އެދި އުޅުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އަހަރުތަކުގެ عدد އާއި، حساب، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެނެގަތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ކޮންމެ ކަމެއްމެ تفصيل ކޮށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވީމެވެ.

(say): "then should i seek (the source of) law elsewhere than god, when it is he who has revealed this book to you, which distinctly explains (everything)?" those to whom we have given the book know it has been sent by your lord in truth.
(ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ!) حكم ކުރާ މީހަކު ކަމުގައި اللَّه ނޫންފަރާތެއް އަހުރެން އެދޭނެހެއްޔެވެެ؟ އެކަލާނގެއީ، (حق އާއި باطل) تفصيل ކޮށް ބަޔާންކުރައްވާފައިވާ ގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ފޮތް ބާވައިލެއްވި ކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި އެއީ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން حق ގޮތާއިގެން ބާވައިލެއްވި ފޮތެއްކަން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ފޮތްދެއްވި މީހުން ދަނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، شك ކުރާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލޭގެފާނު ވެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާހުށިކަމެވެ!
