seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?-
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، (ބަހުގެ) ކޮންމެ وادى އެއްގައިމެ، ދެވޭނުދެވޭ ތަނެއް ނޭނގޭގޮތަށް، އެއުރެން އުޅޭތީ ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވަމުތޯއެވެ؟

and said: “shall we forsake our deities for the sake of a distracted poet?”
އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މޮޔަވެފައިވާ ޅެންވެރިޔެއްގެ ބަހަށް، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންތައް ތިމަންމެން ދޫކޮށްލާނެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

so do not let yourself be distracted from it by those who do not believe in it and who follow their desires, or you will perish.’
ފަހެ، އެދުވަހަށް إيمان ނުވެ، އޭނާގެ هوىنفس އަށް تبع ވެއްޖެމީހާ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަމުން (އެބަހީ: قيامة ދުވަސް ހަނދުމަކުރެއްވުމުން) ކަލޭގެފާނު ދުރުކުރިޔަ ނުދޭހުށިކަމެވެ! އޭރުން ކަލޭގެފާނު ހަލާކުވެދާ ހުށްޓެވެ.

by men not distracted from the remembrance of god either by trade and commerce or buying and selling, who stand by their devotional obligations and pay the zakat, who fear the day when hearts and eyes would flutter with trepidation
އެއީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ. (އެބަހީ: تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކޮށް އުޅެނީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ.) ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ނުވަތަ އެހެންއެއްވެސް ވިއްކުމެއް اللَّه ގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމުންނާއި، ނަމާދު قائم ކުޅައުމުންނާއި، زكاة ދިނުމުން، އެއުރެން مشغول ކޮށް ދުރުކޮށެއް ނުލަތެވެ. އެދުވަހެއްގައި، ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް އެފުށްމިފުށަށް އެނބުރިއުޅޭ ދުވަހަށް، އެއުރެން ބިރުވެތިވެތެވެ.

their hearts distracted, the wrongdoers confer secretly, “is this anything but a mortal like you? will you take to sorcery, with open-eyes?”
އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް غافل ވެގެންވާ حال ގައެވެ. އަދި އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންކުޅަ ސައްލާތައް (އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި) ސިއްރުކުރޫއެވެ. (އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ.) މިއީ (އެބަހީ: محمد ގެފާނީ) ހަމަތިޔަބައިމީހުންފަދަ آدم ގެދަރިޔަކު ކަމުގައިމެނުވީ ނުވެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ކަލޭމެން ދެކެދެނެތިބެ، ޖާދޫ قبول ކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

(they are) distracted in mind even in the midst of it,- being (sincerely) for neither one group nor for another whom allah leaves straying,- never wilt thou find for him the way.
އެދެމެދުގައި (އެބަހީ: إيمان ކަމާއި كافر ކަމާ ދެމެދުގައި) ދެއަތަށް ކިރިކިރިތިބޭ حال ގައެވެ. މިބަޔަކަށްވެސް ނޫނެވެ. އަދި، އެބަޔަކަށްވެސް ނޫނެވެ. (އެބަހީ: مؤمن ންގެ جماعة އަކަށްވެސް، އަދި، كافر ންގެ جماعة އަކަށްވެސް އެއުރެން ނިސްބަތެއް ނުވެއެވެ.) اللَّه، މަގުފުރައްދަވާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކަށްޓަކައި އެއްވެސްމަގެއް ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް ފެނިވަޑައެއް ނުގަންނަވާނެތެވެ.
