(މުދަލާއި ދަރިން (ގިނަކަމަށް އެކަކުއަނެކަކަށް فخر ވެރިވެ އުޅުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (اللَّه ގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަނެއްތައި (مشغول ކޮށްފިއެވެ.

o children of israel, call to mind my favor which i bestowed on you and that i made you excel the nations.
އޭ إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި نعمة އާއި، އަދި (އެދުވަސްވަރުގެ) މީސްތަކުންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މާތްކުރައްވާފައިވާކަން ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

o children of israel! call to mind my favor which i bestowed on you and that i made you excel the nations.
އޭ إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނެވެ! ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި نعمة އާއި، އަދި (އެދުވަސްވަރުގެ) عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މާތްކުރައްވާފައިވާކަން ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

o ye who believe! persevere, and excel in perseverance and be ever ready, and fear allah that haply ye may thrive.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކެތްކުރާށެވެ! އަދި، (دشمن ންނާ ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރުމުގައި އެއުރެންނަށްވުރެ ބޮޑަށް) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކެތްތެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި، دشمن ން އަތުވެދާނޭ މަގުތަކަށް ބަލަބަލާ جهاد ކުރުމަށް ތައްޔާރީގައި ތިބޭށެވެ! އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި نصيب ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

each has a goal to which he turns. so strive towards piety and excel the others: god will bring you all together wheresoever you be.
ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށްމެ (އަޅުކަންކުރުމުގައި) އެމީހަކު ކުރިމަތިލާ ފަރާތެއްވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ހެޔޮކަންތައްކޮށް އުޅުމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަކު އަނެކަކާ ވާދަކޮށް، (އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށްވުރެ) ކުރިއަރައިދާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮންމެ ތަނެއްގައި ތިބިކަމުގައިވިޔަސް (قيامة ދުވަހުން) اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެންމެން އެއްތާކަށް ގެންނަވާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ ކޮންމެކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ކުޅަދުންވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and certainly we gave the book and the wisdom and the prophecy to the children of israel, and we gave them of the goodly things, and we made them excel the nations.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮތާއި، حكمة އާއި، ނަބީކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތިން އެއުރެންނަށް رزق ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި (އެދުވަސްވަރުގެ) عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް އެއުރެން މާތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and certainly we gave knowledge to dawood and sulaiman, and they both said: praise be to allah, who has made us to excel many of his believing servants.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ داود ގެފާނާއި، سليمان ގެފާނަށް علم ވެރިކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެ ދެބޭކަލުން ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. حمد ހުރީ اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެއީ، އެކަލާނގެއަށް إيمان ވެގެންވާ އަޅުންގެ ތެރެއިން، ގިނަމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންމެން މާތްކުރެއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and ismail and al-yasha and yunus and lut; and every one we made to excel (in) the worlds:
އަދި إسماعيل ގެފާނާއި، اليسع ގެފާނާއި، يونس ގެފާނާއި، لوط ގެފާނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއިން ކޮންމެ ބޭކަލަކު عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް މާތްކުރައްވައި އިތުރުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and surely we have honored the children of adam, and we carry them in the land and the sea, and we have given them of the good things, and we have made them to excel by an appropriate excellence over most of those whom we have created.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آدم ގެދަރިން މާތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން އެއްގަމާއި ކަނޑުގައި، އުފުއްލެވީމެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތިން رزق ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހެއްދެވި ތަކެތީގެ ތެރެއިން، ގިނަ ތަކެތީގެ މައްޗަށް އެއުރެން މަތިވެރި ދަރަޖައަކަށް މާތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

o you who believe! be patient and excel in patience and remain steadfast, and be careful of (your duty to) allah, that you may be successful.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކެތްކުރާށެވެ! އަދި، (دشمن ންނާ ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރުމުގައި އެއުރެންނަށްވުރެ ބޮޑަށް) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކެތްތެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި، دشمن ން އަތުވެދާނޭ މަގުތަކަށް ބަލަބަލާ جهاد ކުރުމަށް ތައްޔާރީގައި ތިބޭށެވެ! އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި نصيب ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

everyone has a direction towards which he turns in prayer: so try to excel one another in good works. allah will find you wheresoever you be, for nothing is out of allah's reach.
ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށްމެ (އަޅުކަންކުރުމުގައި) އެމީހަކު ކުރިމަތިލާ ފަރާތެއްވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ހެޔޮކަންތައްކޮށް އުޅުމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަކު އަނެކަކާ ވާދަކޮށް، (އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށްވުރެ) ކުރިއަރައިދާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކޮންމެ ތަނެއްގައި ތިބިކަމުގައިވިޔަސް (قيامة ދުވަހުން) اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެންމެން އެއްތާކަށް ގެންނަވާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ ކޮންމެކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ކުޅަދުންވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and allah has made some of you excel others in the means of subsistence, so those who are made to excel do not give away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess so that they should be equal therein; is it then the favor of allah which they deny?
އަދި اللَّه، رزق ދެއްވުމުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އެއްބަޔަކު އަނެއްބަޔަކުގެ މައްޗަށް މާތްކުރައްވައި، އިތުރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ އަޅުންނަށް، އެއުރެންގެ رزق ރައްދުކޮށްދޭ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި، އިތުރު ކުރެއްވި މީހުން ނުވެތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަމުގައި، އެއުރެން ހަމަހަމަވެގެންވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން إنكار ކޮށް ދެކޮޅުހަދަނީ، اللَّه ދެއްވި نعمة އާ މެދުގައި ހެއްޔެވެ؟
