އެ އިންސާނާ، އޭނާގެ عذر ތައް ކުރިމަތިކުޅަނަމަވެސް މެއެވެ.

or do they, in whose hearts there is a sickness, believe that allah will not bring their failings to light?
ނުވަތަ އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި (نفاق ގެ) ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވާ މީހުން، އެއުރެންގެ ރުޅިވެރިކަމާއި، حسد ވެރިކަން اللَّه ފާޅުނުކުރައްވާނެކަމަށް އެއުރެން ހީކުރީހެއްޔެވެ؟

if he were to ask you for your possessions and press you (in that regard), you would have grown niggardly, and allah would have brought your failings to light.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން އެކަލާނގެ އެތަކެއްޗަށް އެދިވޮޑިގަންނަވައި، އެކަމަށް ބާރުއަޅުއްވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަހިވެތިވާނޫއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ރުޅިވެރިކަމާއި، حسد ވެރިކަން ފާޅުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

let not those who are men of plenty and means among you swear that they will not give to their relatives and the poor and those who leave their homes in the service of god. they should forgive and overlook (their failings).
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ދީލަތިކަމާއި، ތަނަވަސްކަމުގެ ވެރިން، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނަށާއި، مسكين ންނަށާއި، اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި هجرة ކުޅަ މީހުންނަށް، ނުދިނުމަށް ހުވާނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެން عفو ކޮށް މާފުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ފާފަފުއްސެވުމަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނޭދެމުހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހަލާކުކޮށްލުމަށް މަކަރުވެރި ރޭވުމެއް ރޭވޫއެވެ. އަދި ދެރަވެ ނިކަމެތިވި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ލެއްވީމެވެ.
