and we delivered the children of israel from the humiliating persecution.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނިކަމެތިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިން މިންޖުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

thus did we deliver the children of israel from the humiliating chastisement,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނިކަމެތިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިން މިންޖުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

a humiliating chastisement awaits those who disbelieved and denied our signs.
އަދި كافر ވެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް إهانة ތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and we certainly saved the children of israel from the humiliating torment -
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ނިކަމެތިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިން މިންޖުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

but those who deny the truth and deny our signs will receive a humiliating punishment.
އަދި كافر ވެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް إهانة ތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

but, in fact, they are unbelievers, and for them we have prepared a humiliating torment.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނަށް كافر ވާ މީހުންނާއި، اللَّه އާއި އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނާ ދެމެދު (إيمان ވުމުގައި) ތަފާތުކުރަން އެދޭމީހުންނާއި، ތިމަންމެން އެއްބަޔަކަށް إيمان ވަމުއޭ އަދި އަނެއްބަޔަކަށް كافر ވަމުއޭ ބުނެ، އެދެމެދުން މަގެއް ހިފުމަށް އެދޭމީހުން، (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެންނަކީ، ކަނޑައެޅިގެން އެނގޭގޮތުގައި ތިބި كافر ންނެވެ. كافر ންނަށް އިހާނެތި عذاب، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and for those who reject faith and deny our signs, there will be a humiliating punishment.
އަދި كافر ވެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް إهانة ތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and they who disbelieved and denied our signs - for those there will be a humiliating punishment.
އަދި كافر ވެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް إهانة ތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

as for he who knows something of our verses and then mocks them for those there is a humiliating punishment.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކުން އެއްޗެއް އޭނާއަށް އެނގިއްޖެނަމަ، އެއެއްޗެއް ފުރައްސާރައަކަށް ހަދައިގެން އުޅެތެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and when he knows anything of our verses, he takes them in ridicule. those will have a humiliating punishment.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކުން އެއްޗެއް އޭނާއަށް އެނގިއްޖެނަމަ، އެއެއްޗެއް ފުރައްސާރައަކަށް ހަދައިގެން އުޅެތެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

should he learn anything about our signs, he takes them in derision. for such there is a humiliating punishment.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކުން އެއްޗެއް އޭނާއަށް އެނގިއްޖެނަމަ، އެއެއްޗެއް ފުރައްސާރައަކަށް ހަދައިގެން އުޅެތެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and when he learns something of our signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating penalty.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތަކުން އެއްޗެއް އޭނާއަށް އެނގިއްޖެނަމަ، އެއެއްޗެއް ފުރައްސާރައަކަށް ހަދައިގެން އުޅެތެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

indeed those who offend allah and his apostle are cursed by allah in the world and the hereafter, and he has prepared a humiliating punishment for them.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް އުނދަގޫކުރާ (އެބަހީ: ދޮގުކޮށް كافر ވާ) މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށް ދުނިޔެއާއި، آخرة ގައި لعنة ލެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

and as for thamud, we guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they used to earn.
އަދި ثمود ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ ބަދަލުގައި، ކަނުކަން (އެބަހީ: މަގު ފުރެދުން) اختيار ކުރޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހޯދައިއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب ގެ ހޮނުގުގުރި އެއުރެންގައި ހިފިއެވެ.

and whoever disobeys allah and his messenger and transgresses his limits - he will put him into the fire to abide eternally therein, and he will have a humiliating punishment.
އަދި، اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް އުރެދި، އެކަލާނގެ ކަނޑައަޅުއްވާފައިވާ އިންތައް ފަހަނަޅައިދާމީހަކު، ނަރަކަޔަށް ވައްދަވާނެތެވެ. އެތާނގައި އެމީހަކު ދެމިހުންނަނިވި ގޮތުގައެވެ. އަދި، އެމީހަކަށް އިހާނަތްތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and as for thamood, we guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance. so the thunderbolt of the humiliating punishment seized them, because of what they used to earn.
އަދި ثمود ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ ބަދަލުގައި، ކަނުކަން (އެބަހީ: މަގު ފުރެދުން) اختيار ކުރޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހޯދައިއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب ގެ ހޮނުގުގުރި އެއުރެންގައި ހިފިއެވެ.

and those who disbelieved and belied our verses (of this quran), for them will be a humiliating torment (in hell).
އަދި كافر ވެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުޅަ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް إهانة ތެރިކަން ދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

verily those who oppose allah and his messenger shall be brought low even as those before them were brought low. surely we have sent down clear signs; and a humiliating chastisement awaits the unbelievers;
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެންގެކުރިން އުޅުނު (އެފަދަ) މީހުން ނިކަމެތިކޮށްލެއްވި ފަދައިން، އެއުރެން ނިކަމެތިކޮށްލައްވާ ހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ آية ތައް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި كافر ންނަށް ހުރީ، އިހާނަތްތެރިކަންދެނިވި عذاب އެވެ.
