establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިިމީހުން زكاة ދޭށެވެ! އަދި ركوع ކުރާ މީހުންނާ އެކުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ركوع ކުރާށެވެ!

who establish the prayer, pay the obligatory charity, and firmly believe in the everlasting life.
އެއުރެންނީ ނަމާދު قائم ކޮށް، زكاة ދީ، އަދި آخرة ދުވަހާމެދު يقين ކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ.

those who observe the prayer, and pay the obligatory charity, and are certain of the hereafter.
އެއުރެންނީ ނަމާދު قائم ކޮށް، زكاة ދީ، އަދި آخرة ދުވަހާމެދު يقين ކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ.

we have revealed this surah and made it obligatory as we have sent down clear injunctions in it that you may be warned.
(މިއީ) سورة އެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެ سورة ބާވައިލެއްވީ އަދި އެ سورة ގައިވާ ކަންތައްތައް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައި فرض ކުރެއްވީ، އަދި ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތައް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ سورة ގައި ބާވައިލެއްވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and keep the prayer established and pay the obligatory charity and obey the noble messenger, in the hope of attaining mercy.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި زكاة ދޭށެވެ! އަދި رسول އާއަށް ކިޔަަމަންވާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް رحمة ލެއްވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

a chapter that we have revealed, and made obligatory, and revealed in it clear verses, that you may take heed.
(މިއީ) سورة އެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެ سورة ބާވައިލެއްވީ އަދި އެ سورة ގައިވާ ކަންތައްތައް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައި فرض ކުރެއްވީ، އަދި ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތައް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ سورة ގައި ބާވައިލެއްވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

this is a chapter which we have revealed and which we have made obligatory; we have sent down clear revelations in it, so that you may take heed.
(މިއީ) سورة އެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެ سورة ބާވައިލެއްވީ އަދި އެ سورة ގައިވާ ކަންތައްތައް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައި فرض ކުރެއްވީ، އަދި ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތައް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ سورة ގައި ބާވައިލެއްވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

(this is) a chapter which we have revealed and made obligatory and in which we have revealed clear communications that you may be mindful.
(މިއީ) سورة އެކެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެ سورة ބާވައިލެއްވީ އަދި އެ سورة ގައިވާ ކަންތައްތައް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައި فرض ކުރެއްވީ، އަދި ފާޅުވެ بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެކިތައް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ سورة ގައި ބާވައިލެއްވީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and to him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth, and obeying him only is obligatory; so will you fear anyone other than allah?
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ އެއްޗެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ، އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. އަދި އަބަދުގެ އަބަދަށް، ކިޔަމަންވުންވަނީވެސް އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިރުވެތިވަނީ، اللَّه ނޫން ފަރާތަކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

only those enliven the mosques of allah who believe in allah and the last day and establish prayer and pay the obligatory charity and fear none except allah – so it is likely that they will be among the people of guidance.
اللَّه ގެ މިސްކިތްތައް ފަޅުފިލުވައި ބަލަހައްޓާނީ، اللَّه އަށާއި، آخرة ދުވަހަށް إيمان ވެ، ނަމާދު قائم ކޮށް، زكاة ދީ، اللَّه އަށް މެނުވީ ބިރުނުގަންނަ މީހުންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަކީ، ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުން ކަމުގައިވުން ގާތްބަޔެކެވެ.

and keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and pay the charity, and bow your heads with those who bow (in prayer).
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިިމީހުން زكاة ދޭށެވެ! އަދި ركوع ކުރާ މީހުންނާ އެކުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ركوع ކުރާށެވެ!

and when you travel in the land, it is no sin for you to curtail some of your obligatory prayers; if you fear that disbelievers may cause you harm; undoubtedly the disbelievers are open enemies to you.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިމުގައި ދަތުރުފަތުރުކޮށް އުޅޭއިރު، كافر ވި މީހުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ގެއްލުމެއް ދީފާނެކަމަށް ބިރުގެންފިނަމަ، ނަމާދު قصر ކުރުމަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއްނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ފާޅުވެގެންވާ عداوة ތެރިން ކަމުގައި كافر ން ވިއެވެ.

(offensive) fighting is obligatory for you, though it is hateful to you. but you may hate a thing although it is good for you, and may love a thing although it is evil for you.
ހަނގުރާމަކުރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް فرض ކުރައްވައިފިއެވެ. އެއީ، (އެކަމަކީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ނުރުހެވޭ ކަމެއް ކަމުގައި ވަނިކޮށެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުރުހޭ ކަމެއް އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ލާބަހުރި ކަމަކަށް ވެދާނެތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރުހޭ ކަމެއް، އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ގެއްލުންހުރި ކަމަކަށް ވެދާނެތެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ހުރިހާ ކަމެއްމެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް ނޭނގެއެވެ.

and forego sleep* in some part of the night – an increase for you**; it is likely your lord will set you on a place where everyone will praise you***. (* for worship. ** obligatory only upon the holy prophet. *** on the day of resurrection.)
އަދި (فرض ފަސްނަމާދުގެ އިތުރަށް) ކަލޭގެފާނަށް خاص ނަމާދެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި، ރޭގަނޑުގެ ބައެއްގައި އެ قرآن ކިޔަވައިވިދާޅުވެ، تهجّد ނަމާދު ކުރައްވާށެވެ! އެކަމުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ، حمد ލިބިގެންވާ مقام އަކަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ފޮނުއްވައިފާހުށްޓެވެ!
