that it is he who enriches and grants possessions,
އަދި މުއްސަނދިކުރައްވަނީވެސް، އަދި فقير ކުރައްވަނީވެސް އެކަލާނގެއެވެ.

that it is he who gives wealth and possessions;
އަދި މުއްސަނދިކުރައްވަނީވެސް، އަދި فقير ކުރައްވަނީވެސް އެކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived.
އަދި سؤال ކޮށް އެދޭ މީހުންނަށާއި، ނިކަމެތި محروم ންނަށް އެއުރެންގެ މުދަލުގައި حق އެއްވެއެވެ.

your possessions and your children are a test, but with god is a splendid reward.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންތައް ވާކަންކަށަވަރީ، امتحان އެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ދަރުމަހުރީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައެވެ.

and know that your possessions and your children are a test, and that god possesses an immense reward.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންނަކީ، امتحان އެކެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ދަރުމަ ވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައެވެ.

those who devour the possessions of the orphans unjustly devour only fire, and will surely burn in hell.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުގެގޮތުން يتيم ންގެ މުދާ ކައިއުޅޭ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެން ކައިއުޅޭކަން ކަށަވަރީ (ނަރަކައިގެ) އަލިފާނެވެ. އަދި، އަނދަ އަނދާާ ހުންނަ ނަރަކަޔަކަށް އެއުރެން ނިކަންހުރެ ވަންނާނެތެވެ.

and know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely with allah is a mighty reward.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންނަކީ، امتحان އެކެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ދަރުމަ ވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައެވެ.

know that your possessions and children are only a test, and that allah—with him is a great reward.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންނަކީ، امتحان އެކެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ދަރުމަ ވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައެވެ.

and know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is allah with whom lies your highest reward.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންނަކީ، امتحان އެކެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ދަރުމަ ވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައެވެ.

and how many a generation have we destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance?
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން ކިތައް ކިތައް أمّة ހަލާކުކުރެއްވިން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ މުދާވެރިކަމުގެ ގޮތުންނާއި، ފެންނަ ފެނުމަށް އެއުރެން މާރަނގަޅެވެ.

believers, do not let either your possessions or your children divert you from the remembrance of allah. those who do that shall be the losers.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންތައް اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރުމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مشغول ކޮށް ދުރުކުރިޔަ ނުދޭހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެކަންތައްކުރާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ މީހުންނީ، ހަމަ އެއުރެންނެވެ.

as for those who deny the truth, neither their possessions nor their children shall avail them in the least against god. they will be inmates of the fire.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، كافر ވި މީހުންނަކަށް އެއުރެންގެ މުދާތަކެއްވެސް އަދި، އެއުރެންގެ ދަރިންތަކެއްވެސް، އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން އެއްވެސް ކަމެއް ފުއްދައެއް ނުދޭނެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންނީ ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ އެތާނގައި ދެމިތިބެނިވި ބަޔެކެވެ.

and he bequeathed upon you their lands, their habitations, and their possessions, and a land you never trod. god is powerful over everything.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ބިމާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ގެދޮރާއި، އެއުރެންގެ މުދަލާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެ ބިމުގައި ފައިތިލަވެސް ޖައްސައިނުލާ ބިމެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަލާނގެ ލިބިދެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެ ކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ކުޅަދުންވަންތަ ކަލަކު ކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

and he made you inherit their land, and their homes, and their possessions, and a region you have never stepped on. god has power over all things.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ބިމާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ގެދޮރާއި، އެއުރެންގެ މުދަލާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެ ބިމުގައި ފައިތިލަވެސް ޖައްސައިނުލާ ބިމެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަލާނގެ ލިބިދެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެ ކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ކުޅަދުންވަންތަ ކަލަކު ކަމުގައި ވެއެވެ.

and let not their possessions and their children please thee; god only desires thereby to chastise them in this present world, and that their souls should depart while they are unbelievers.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ދަރިންތައް ކަލޭގެފާނު عجائب ކުރުވިޔަ ނުދޭހުށިކަމެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވަނީ، އެތަކެތީގެ ސަބަބުން، އެއުރެންނަށް، ދުނިޔޭގައި عذاب ދެއްވުމަށެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނީ كافر ން ކަމުގައިވާ حال، އެއުރެންގެ ފުރާނަތައް ނިކުމެގެން ދިއުމަށެވެ.

go forth, light and heavy! struggle in god's way with your possessions and your selves; that is better for you, did you know.
ލުއިކަމާއެކުގައްޔާއި، ބުރަކަމާއެކުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (ހަނގުރާމައަށް) ނުކުންނާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، نفس ތަކުން اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި جهاد ކުރާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، އެގޮތް ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެކަން) އެނގޭކަމުގައި ވާނަމައެވެ.

it also belongs to the poor emigrants who have been driven out of their homes and their possessions, those who seek allah's favour and good pleasure and help allah and his messenger. such are the truthful ones.
އެއުރެންގެ ގެދޮރުންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ މުދަލުން ނެރެލާފައިވާ فقير مهاجر ންނަށް (އެ فَىء މުދަލުގައި) حق އެއްވެއެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން فضل ވަންތަވެރިކަމާއި، ރުހިވޮޑިގަތުން އެދޭ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް نصر ދޭ މީހުންނެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ ހަމަ ތެދުވެރިންނެވެ.

go forth, whether [armed] lightly or heavily, and wage jihad with your possessions and persons in the way of allah. that is better for you, should you know.
ލުއިކަމާއެކުގައްޔާއި، ބުރަކަމާއެކުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (ހަނގުރާމައަށް) ނުކުންނާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، نفس ތަކުން اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި جهاد ކުރާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، އެގޮތް ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެކަން) އެނގޭކަމުގައި ވާނަމައެވެ.

(it is) for the poor who fled their homes and their possessions, seeking grace of allah and (his) pleasure, and assisting allah and his apostle: these it is that are the truthful.
އެއުރެންގެ ގެދޮރުންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ މުދަލުން ނެރެލާފައިވާ فقير مهاجر ންނަށް (އެ فَىء މުދަލުގައި) حق އެއްވެއެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން فضل ވަންތަވެރިކަމާއި، ރުހިވޮޑިގަތުން އެދޭ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް نصر ދޭ މީހުންނެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ ހަމަ ތެދުވެރިންނެވެ.
