they will reply, "we did not pray,
އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. ނަމާދުކުރާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެޔަކު ތިމަންމެން ނުވަމުއެވެ.

but they reply: 'rather, you were not believers.
އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مؤمن ން ކަމުގައި ނުވަމުއެވެ.

they will reply: "nay, you yourselves were not believers.
އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مؤمن ން ކަމުގައި ނުވަމުއެވެ.

they will reply: "nay, ye yourselves had no faith!
އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مؤمن ން ކަމުގައި ނުވަމުއެވެ.

and he will reply: 'are you looking down (into hell)'
އޭނާ ބުނާނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބަލަން ބޭނުންހެއްޔެވެ؟

and they shall reply, "we were not among those who prayed;
އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. ނަމާދުކުރާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެޔަކު ތިމަންމެން ނުވަމުއެވެ.

'lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring.
އެއުރެން ދަންނަވާނެތެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! ތިމަންމެންގެ އަބާއްޖަވެރިކަން ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް ގަދަވެގަތީއެވެ. އަދި މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންމެން ވީމުއެވެ.

'allah' they will reply. say: 'how then can you be so bewitched'
އެއުރެން ދަންނަވާނެތެވެ. (މިލްކުވެރިކަންވަނީ) اللَّه އަށެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެކަންކަން) އޮޅެނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟

“and i shall send a present to them, then see what reply the envoys bring.”
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންކަމަނާ އެއުރެންނަށް ހަދިޔާއެއް މިފޮނުއްވަނީއެވެ. ދެން (އެ ހަދިޔާއާއިގެން) ފޮނުވޭމީހުން އެނބުރި އަންނަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗަކާއިގެންތޯ ބައްލަވަން ތިމަންކަމަނާ انتظار ކުރައްވާނަމެވެ.

take this letter of mine and deliver it to them, then return and see what their reply will be."
އަހުރެންގެ މި ސިޓީ ހިފައިގެންގޮސް އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އެ އެއްލާށެވެ! ދެން އެއުރެންނާ ދުރަށްޖެހި (ޖަވާބުގައި) އެއުރެން ރައްދުކުރަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯ ބަލާށެވެ!

take this letter from me, and deliver it to them and withdraw, then see what reply they give in return."
އަހުރެންގެ މި ސިޓީ ހިފައިގެންގޮސް އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އެ އެއްލާށެވެ! ދެން އެއުރެންނާ ދުރަށްޖެހި (ޖަވާބުގައި) އެއުރެން ރައްދުކުރަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯ ބަލާށެވެ!

but indeed, i will send to them a gift and see with what [reply] the messengers will return."
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންކަމަނާ އެއުރެންނަށް ހަދިޔާއެއް މިފޮނުއްވަނީއެވެ. ދެން (އެ ހަދިޔާއާއިގެން) ފޮނުވޭމީހުން އެނބުރި އަންނަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗަކާއިގެންތޯ ބައްލަވަން ތިމަންކަމަނާ انتظار ކުރައްވާނަމެވެ.

they do not bring you any representation but that we bring you the truth [in reply to them] and the best exposition.
އަދި އެއުރެންނަކަށް ކަލޭގެފާނާ އިދިކޮޅަށް އެއްވެސް މިސާލެއް ނުގެނެވޭނެތެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަލޭގެފާނަށް حق ބަސްފުޅު ގެނެސްދެއްވައި، އެއަށްވުރެ ސާފު ބަޔާނަކުން ބަޔާންކޮށްދެއްވާހުށީމެވެ.

(the reply came:) "march forth with my servants by night: for ye are sure to be pursued.
(އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.) ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންނާއިގެން ރޭގަނޑެއްގައި ކަލޭގެފާނު ހިންގަވައި ވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ފަހަތުން (فرعون އާއި، އޭނާގެ لشكر) އަންނާނެތެވެ.

on that day we shall ask hell: “are you full?” and it will reply: “are there any more?”
އެދުވަހަކީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ނަރަކަޔަށް، ކަލޭ ފުރިއްޖެހޭ وحى ކުރައްވާނޭ ދުވަހެވެ. އަދި އެ ނަރަކަ، ދެން އިތުރަކަށް ނެތްތޯއޭ ދަންނަވާނޭ ދުވަހެވެ.

those who had waxed proud will reply: “all of us are in it. allah has already passed his judgement among his servants.”
ބޮޑާވެގަތް ބޮޑުން ބުނާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަހުރެމެން އެންމެން މިތިބީ އެއަލިފާނުގައެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، އަޅުތަކުންގެ މެދުގައި، حكم ކުރައްވައި ނިންމަވައިފިއެވެ.

(in reply to your devising) do they feel secure from the devising of allah? none feels secure from the devising of allah except the loosing nation.
ފަހެ، اللَّه ގެ ރޭއްވެވުމާމެދު އެއުރެން (ބިރެއްނެތި) أمان ވެ ތިބީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ މީހުން މެނުވީ، اللَّه ގެ ރޭއްވެވުމާމެދު (ބިރެއްނެތި) أمان ވެގެންނެއް ނުތިބޭނެތެވެ.

god will reply to the soul, "my revelations had certainly come to you but you rejected them. you were puffed-up with pride and you became an unbeliever".
އެހެންނަކުންނޫނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ކަލޭގެ ގާތަށްއައެވެ. ފަހެ، ކަލޭ އެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުރީމުއެވެ. އަދި ބޮޑާވެގަތީމުއެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭވީ، كافر ންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

but when the believers are called to allah and his messenger, in order that he judges between them, their reply is: 'we hear and obey' such are theprosperous.
އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި، حكم ކުރެއްވުމަށް اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާގެ އަރިހަށް އައުމަށް، އެއުރެންނަށް ގޮވައިލައްވައިފިހިނދަކު، مؤمن ންގެ ބަހެއްކަމުގައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، ތިމަންމެން އަހައިފީމުއޭ، އަދި ތިމަންމެން ކިޔަމަންވެއްޖައީމުއޭ، އެއުރެން ބުނުމެވެ. އަދި ދިންނަވާނޭ މީހުންނަކީ، ހަމަ އެއުރެންނެވެ.
