އަދި، އެއުރެން ވަރިކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and they opened the morning, strong in an (unjust) resolve.
އަދި فقير ންނަށް ނުދިނުމަށް ކުޅަދާނަކަން ލިބިގެންވާކަމަށްހީކޮށް، އެކަމުގެ قصد ގައި ހެނދުނާ އެއުރެން ދިޔައޫއެވެ.

and if they resolve on divorcement, then verily allah is hearing, knowing.
އަދި، އެއުރެން ވަރިކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

but he who bears with patience and forgives, surely complies with divine resolve.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކެތްތެރިވެ، عفو ކުރިމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންކަންވަނީ، عزم ކަނޑައަޅަންޖެހޭ ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

but if they resolve on divorce, surely, allah is the hearer, the knower.
އަދި، އެއުރެން ވަރިކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and we covenanted with adam before, but he forgot, and we found in him no resolve.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މީގެކުރިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آدم ގެފާނަށް وصيّة ކުރައްވައި، عهد ހިއްޕެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު (އެ عهد) ހަނދުމަނެތުނެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކިބައިން އެއްވެސް عزم އަކާއި، ثابت ކަމެއް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެކެވޮޑިއެއް ނުގަންނަވަމެވެ.

but if they resolve on divorce, surely god is all-hearing, all-knowing.
އަދި، އެއުރެން ވަރިކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

but if they resolve on divorce, allah is indeed all-hearing, all-knowing.
އަދި، އެއުރެން ވަރިކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and if they resolve on divorce, (let them remember that allah hears everything and knows everything.
އަދި، އެއުރެން ވަރިކުރުމަށް قصد ކޮށްފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

so resolve upon your plan and then come [forward] in line. and he has succeeded today who overcomes."
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ރޭވުންތައް މޮޅަށް ރާވާށެވެ! ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (ޖާދޫގަރުންނާއި عام ންގެ މީހުން) ސަފަކަށްތިބެ އަންނާށެވެ! ހަަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިއަދު މޮޅުވެ، މަތިވެރިވި މީހަކަށް ކާމިޔާބު ލިބިއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

obey allah and his messenger and do not dispute with one another lest you should lose courage and your resolve weaken. have patience allah is with those who are patient.
އަދި اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކިޔަމަންވާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެބަސްވެ އަރާރުންނުވާށެވެ! (ދެބަސްވެ އަރާރުންވާނަމަ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ފިނޑިވެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ބާރުނެތި ހިނގައިދާނެއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކެތްތެރިވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވަނީ، ކެތްތެރިންނާ އެކުގައެވެ.

she said: o chiefs! counsel me in my affair. i am wont not to resolve on any affair until ye are present with me.
އެކަމަނާ ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. އޭ (قوم ގެ) ބޮޑުންނޭވެ! އަހުރެންގެ މިކަންތަކުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ފެންނަގޮތް އަހުރެންނަށް ބުނެދޭށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަހުރެންނާއެކު حاضر ވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން އަހުރެން ގޮތެއް ކަނޑައެއް ނާޅާނަމެވެ.

let not those who are possessed of means and plenty among you resolve to withhold their bounty from their kindred and the needy and those who have migrated from their homes in the cause of god. let them forgive and overlook.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ދީލަތިކަމާއި، ތަނަވަސްކަމުގެ ވެރިން، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނަށާއި، مسكين ންނަށާއި، اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި هجرة ކުޅަ މީހުންނަށް، ނުދިނުމަށް ހުވާނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެން عفو ކޮށް މާފުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ފާފަފުއްސެވުމަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނޭދެމުހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

o my son, fulfil your moral obligations, bid what is known to be right and forbid what is wrong, and bear with patience what befalls you. these are indeed acts of courage and resolve.
އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ! ތިބާ ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް أمر ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ނުބައިކަންތައް ނަހީކުރާށެވެ! ތިބާޔަށްޖެހޭ مصيبة އަށް ކެތްކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންވަނީ، عزم ކަނޑައަޅަންޖެހޭ ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

allah knoweth that ye will anon make mention of these women: but make no promises unto them in secret, except ye speak a reputable saying. and even resolve not on wedding-knot until the prescribed term hath attained its end; and know that allah knoweth that which is in your souls, wherefore beware of him, and know that allah is forgiving, forbearing
އަދި، (رجعى عدة ފިޔަވައި އެހެން عدة ގައިވާ) އަންހެނުންކުރެން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާވެނިކުރަން އެދޭކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް ދޭހަވާ ނުވަތަ إشارة ކުރާ ބަހެއް ބުނުމާމެދު، ނުވަތަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހިތުތެރޭގައި (ކާވެނިކުރުމުގެ قصد) ފޮރުވާފައި ބޭއްވުމާމެދު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ފާފައެއްނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުން ކުރެން (صريح ކޮށް) ކާވެނިކުރުމަށް އެދޭނޭކަން اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، شرعى ހަމައިގެ މަތިންވާ ބަހެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނުން ފިޔަވައި، އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ކާވެނިކުރުމާމެދު وعد ވެ ނުހަދާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، އެކަނބަލުންގެ عدّة ހަމަވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެކަނބަލުންނާ) ކާވެނި عقد ނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نفس ތަކުގައިވާ ކަންތައް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ވީމާ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ބިރުވެތިވެ ރައްކާތެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ حليم ވަންތަ، ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!
