far, far is that which you are threatened with.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަންތައް ދުރުވެގެންވެއެވެ. (ވަރަށް) ދުރުވެގެންވެއެވެ.

lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަންތައްތަކަކީ، حق ތެދުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and the trumpet is blown. this is the threatened day.
(އަލުން ދިރުއްވުމަށް) ތާޅަފިލި ފުމެލައްވާނެތެވެ. އެއީ (كافر ންނަށް عذاب ގެ) وعيد އަންނަ ދުވަހެވެ.

then there comes to them that with which they are threatened,
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އަވަސްވުން އެދެނީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب އަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ރޯއްޖާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާހާ ކަމެއް (ގެأمر ފުޅު) އުޑުގައިވެއެވެ.

woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes!
ފަހެ كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ދުވަހުން ގެއްލުމާއި ހަލާކުހުށްޓެވެ.

say thou; my lord! if thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened.
(އެކަލާނގެއީ) ނުފެންނަ ކަންތަކާއި، ފެންނަ ކަންތައް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން شريك ކުރާ ތަކެއްޗަށްވުރެން އެކަލާނގެ މަތިވެރިވެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with.
ފަހެ كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ދުވަހުން ގެއްލުމާއި ހަލާކުހުށްޓެވެ.

say: o my lord! if thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with:
(އެކަލާނގެއީ) ނުފެންނަ ކަންތަކާއި، ފެންނަ ކަންތައް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން شريك ކުރާ ތަކެއްޗަށްވުރެން އެކަލާނގެ މަތިވެރިވެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

surely what you are threatened with must come to pass and you cannot escape (it).
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަންތަކަކީ، އަންނާނެކަން ކަށަވަރު ކަންތަކެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކީ، (ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ) ނުކުޅައްދައި، ރެކިގެންދާނޭ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ނުވެއެވެ.

and indeed we are able to show you (o muhammad saw) that with which we have threatened them.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަންތައް ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދެއްކެވުމަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކުޅަދުންވަންތަކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

the trumpet will certainly be sounded. this will be the day (about which you) were threatened.
(އަލުން ދިރުއްވުމަށް) ތާޅަފިލި ފުމެލައްވާނެތެވެ. އެއީ (كافر ންނަށް عذاب ގެ) وعيد އަންނަ ދުވަހެވެ.

say: i do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my lord will appoint for it a term:
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ عذاب ގާތްވެއްޖެކަމެއްވެސް، ނުވަތަ ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަމަކަށް ދިގުމުއްދަތެއް ލައްވާނެކަމެއްވެސް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް އެނގިވަޑައެއް ނުގަނެތެވެ.

therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened;
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ދުވަހާ އެއުރެން ބައްދަލުވެއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން، باطل ވާހަކަތައް ދައްކައި، ކުޅިވަރުކުޅެން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވާށެވެ!

(muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the day with which they have been threatened:
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ދުވަހާ އެއުރެން ބައްދަލުވެއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެން، باطل ވާހަކަތައް ދައްކައި، ކުޅިވަރުކުޅެން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވާށެވެ!

but if they turn back, say: i have given you warning in fairness and i do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far;
ދެން އެއުރެން ފުރަގަސްދީފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ސާފުކޮށް (حق ގޮތް) އަންގަވައި ދެއްވައިފީމެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާ ދުވަސްއޮތީ، ގާތުގައިކަން ނުވަތަ ދުރުގައިކަން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް އެނގިވަޑައެއް ނުގަންނަވައެވެ.

(on the day of judgment) when the disbelievers witness that with which they have been threatened, they will then know whose helpers are weaker and fewer in number.
އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާފައިވާ عذاب ފެނިއްޖައުމަށް ދާނދެނެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު نصر ދޭ މީހުންގެ ގޮތުން ނިކަމެތި، އަދި عدد ގެގޮތުން މަދީ ކޮންބަޔެއްކަން ނިކަންހުރެ އެއުރެންނަށް އެނގޭނެތެވެ.
